  1. He looks a little more amped for this game for obvious reasons. Have a feeling he lights the lamp tonight
  2. Used to be my favorite band growing up in the 80’s. Know all the songs by heart. Haven’t listened to them much since and whenever I do, I realize how awful Rik Emmett’s voice is. Lol. Still love em’ though.
  3. Are there any stats that show how many odd man rushes the TNT gives up? That have to be pretty high up there if there is
  4. Why can’t they learn to just make the simple pass in their own zone?? Driving me crazy
  5. Both are 6’5 but play a very different style of game. Roetlisberger had mobility in the pocket (in his prime). I’d compare JA more to Cam Newton. Same height and build and similar game. Newton hit an injury wall at 8 years in the league and never was the same. That would put JA at about 30 years old and would seem to be accurate for a QB with that playing style to hit that injury wall. Granted, JA’s arm is a lot more lively than Newton and could potentially transition into more of a pocket passer. But who knows. The way he gets knocked around he might be out of the game by 30
  6. Not sure if Dawkins can play guard, but he has simply become a turnstile at tackle. And that would be a lot of money to pay an interior lineman. But maybe that’s the way to go? Draft a tackle or two on a rookie contract to balance things out. Dunno. Something has to give. The OL killed JA this year.
  7. I agree about Beane. He has had some hits but every year the pundits say our roster is top notch. But the more you look at it, is it really? Beane absolutely needs to ace this year's draft. His draft day selections have generally been really, really bad. I mean, you miss in the first few round of an NFL draft on a yearly basis and the results will not be good. I'm actually surprised at how well the team in general has held up. The first 2 picks in each of the last 4 years... 2022- Elam (like you said, lost his job to a 6th rounder and then benched for a good part of the year) Cook (could be productive, but lacks size and is useless in the current offensive scheme and philosophy) 2021- Rousseau (may become a quality pass rusher but disappeared often and was invisible yesterday) Basham (had a moment or two this year but mostly a bust) 2020- Epenesa (See Basham... bust) Z. Moss (Bust) 2019- E. Oliver (Definitely not lived up to a 9th overall pick. No pass rush skills and doesn't eat up much space in the run) C. Ford (Bust of all busts) Beane will need to win this offseason or we could be in for a rough stretch.
  8. My wounds are still far too fresh from that pitiful game!! Lol
  9. Yeah, the cupboard is pretty empty outside of Diggs. A couple more weapons with size, unlike Davis who drops half the balls thrown his way. It would definitely force defenses to play more zone and blitz less. Or get major upgrades on the OL to give JA a few more seconds. Chicken or the egg. But then what to do on the defensive side of the ball? DL needs more bulk. Edmunds may walk and likely will need two starting safeties. Gonna be an interesting off season
  10. Relax? I’ve learned to throw away rose colored glasses
  11. The upsetting part is that our window has all but closed. Salary cap is going to be a problem next year and both lines need major upgrades. Not to mention all the good young QB’s in the AFC. This was supposed to be our year and squandered it with poor coaching philosophies on both sides of the ball. We are now way behind multiple teams and will be tough to close that gap over the next few years unless something major happens. A few tweaks won’t do it unfortunately. Oh, the life of a Buffalo fan
  12. Holy crap this PP... We don't even have a "big" guy that we can throw in front of the net if they wanted to
  13. Sounds like I should be glad I couldn’t watch today
