Football helmets haven't changed drastically though in order to accommodate safey improvements. Hockey helmets, in order to provide real protection, are going to require a complete overhaul. The pros will never have it.
I don't expect it would be any harder than the visors were.

That makes it even worse. This is what it takes to motivate the fans? The worst mock cheer of last night was the cheer Hackett got when he got to his knees after being injured, then an even mockier one when it was clear he was staying in the game. Please tell me how noble that was.
I watched the game in a bar that had the sound off. If that happened I in no way support it.

They read part of the article over the air and the audio will be on the GR website soon, but it was something about how fans are compromising their values by rooting for the Sabres to lose.
I don't know what world that idiot (Gleason) lives in, but my values have next to nothing to do with the Sabres or with spectator sports in general.

Finishing up a painting project in the house today. My cat is always in the way and I've accidentally got a big glob of white paint on him. My wife is not going to be pleased. I tried wiping it out but only smeared it all down his side. Any ideas how I can get it out before she gets home?

Hilarious.... I posted a few posts over on the GDT in the Yotes forum, and they were all deleted.
- I pointed out that the Sabres control their own destiny now *even if* they lose to Arizona. Twice.
- They claimed the Sabres will be in the draft lottery next year as well; I countered, pointing out that if the Sabres get McEichel,
1) Pegula-bucks pay for a top-tier coach like Babcock
2) Sabres are now flush with centers to the point that one or two may have to play wing
3) Jettison Benny and the Mez, replace with Pysyk & McCabe
4) Arturs Irbe and the Zen of Goalie Coaching
5) Pegula-bucks and cap room to sign one or two free agents to fill holes on wing, goalie, etc.
6) PLAYOFFS
