He might be the leading point producer but the #1 C is Thompson and 2nd line C is Cozens.

We just drafted 3 centers 2 seasons ago in Savoie, Kulich and Östlund. Someone is going to take over that spot and they obviously didn't want to pay Middlestadt to do it so yes I believe that's correct.

I think it's more Östlund/Kulich made Middlestadt expendable... 1 of those 2 (My guess is Östlund who looks like a solid 2 way C).

I love this move by Adams, I liked what Casey Middlestadft has become but it became quite clear he wasn't part of the plans here when everyone of the core players got a contract but him. We need to bolster our defensive group and Byram will be our top 4 D, he wasn't in Colorado because they invested heavily in that department so he was buried on the roster and lets be honest if not for Byrams injuries we wouldnt even have had a shot at a player like this so I think Adams finally woke up and thats good to see. I love for him to make a move at a goalie also.

This would be the Sabsey (Sort of like Billsy but on skates) way to go, another failed former HC or Sabres player. We don't just need a good motivational speaker we need a legit head coach who has playoff and beyond experience, thats the guy we need. There are 2 guys sitting on the couch right now, those are the 2 I'd love to lure here. Not a a HC that has just been bounced for underperforming another franchise.

Unfortunately our GM is AWOL, this team could have traded for talent long ago and decided to do absolutely nothing so I don't see them picking up anyone. If they wouldn't even attempt to go for the playoffs then why would they do anything to better the team now? I can see this team not tradign Middlestadt and losing him outright. This regime is a a heaping pile of dog ***** from the GM, to the HC and all the assistants.
