The Islanders are creeping up. As well as the Habs. We need another 3-4 game win streak. We could literally be out of a playoff spot soon if we drop the next two.

I agree and I feel you. I live in Florida and my yearly ventures to see them play the Panthers and I am like 2-10. I really believe it's time for kids to start coming up. You cant get worse then forwards on 2nd and 3rd line save Sheary and E rod. I am sure Jbot is watching.

Horrendous game. JBot still has a lot of work ahead. Again... no scoring depth whatsoever. They will not make the post season unless this changes.

I’d like to see CJ Smith inserted into the line up or one of the kids. Those guys could at least energize 2 or 3rd lines over the corpses we have out there now.

Our second line and especially third line is useless.

This year the goaltending is vastly improved as is the defense. Jack is elite and with Skinner we have an elite top line. But... losing O’Reilly set us back. We need a second line center to drive play. Mitts is years away yet.

It’s been a bad month... the problem is because we have no secondary scoring. Virtually none.

This is a bad match up for us. They can shut down our one line... we don’t have the depth to attack their system.

Correct ….salary cap management and organizational structuring for long term success is JBot's skill. I highly doubt he will overpay to keep Skinner here. Skinner, and everyone else knows, Jack is the reason he will have a career year. I would not be shocked if JBot gets him with a $7.5 mill type deal. No way I think he signs him anything over $8.5. If Skinner is smart, he takes it, keeps scoring goals, and is part of a team on the rise to contending status.
