Completely agree... from what I’ve seen “bust” is creeping in. Not to beat a dead horse but that O Reilly trade is looking horrific right now.

We went from 12 points up to out of a playoff spot in about 4 weeks... must be some kind of record.

Yup, but maybe for the best? Looking at this line up we have maybe 2 guys total that are true 2 and 3 line guys. Literally No centers besides Eichel. Mitts not even close. I’m scared we are still years away unless JBot can pull off something.

We already know Phil will BS (Berglund is "sick")… I could be wrong but it apparently sounds like Eichel is going to miss more than a few games (we will "evaluate next week")

We only needed to go roughly .500 the rest of the way... instead we only win 4 of the past 15... the real team is somewhere in between the 10 game and this most likely...but we really don't have a playoff roster honestly

The Sabres without Eichel was like watching the Bills when JA was hurt. I would not be surprised with the same result. Dismal offense. Hopefully the team finds some fire somewhere.

Heading slowly into bust territory (or long term project) along with Nylander. At best he needs a year or so in the minors. What’s shocking is how much better his contemporaries are then him. The metrics don’t lie. Those two picks as well as the one we gave away for Lehrner could be what is going to delay this teams rise for a few more years. Petterson by comparison is elite already. Sink or swim these days. JBot has a lot of work still. At this point we are no where close to being a contender it may be best to get a lower pick again.
