The top 4 D of MTL alongside an elite goalie with responsible, fast, hardworking forwards, makes me hope the Sabres grab Powers all the more and some similar forwards like Suzuki, Gallagher and Danault.

we were going to be really bad by defacto... The old core all left and we needed a rebuild anyways. So even if we went all out we still likely were bottom 5 imo.

NY just doesn’t make a lot of mistakes and play so disciplined. If it wasn’t for that gift wrapped penalty at the end it was a shutout. Very impressive game 1 on the road. Cooper has to make adjustments.

Precisely! Turgeon got Lafontaine. There has to be a tier one player offered to get Eichel or it is a no go. If he is unproven, some picks come as well. You cannot get fleeced in this trade.

That chances of us getting fleeced are pretty high. Impossible to win this trade but you can try and break even Like the Turgeon/Lafontaine trade.

The bottom line is when you get a player of the caliber of Jack, and you are trading him 5 years later, that’s a serious failure of a franchise. Something went really wrong.

Granato is better than RK. So that’s an improvement. I would of preferred Gallant then Boudreau. Hopefully The Don will do well.
