I think we all had that type of colleague or manager in our professional lives but Botterill doesn't give me the feeling he fits into that category.  I think he wants to improve this team and already has taken steps last year to do so.    They didn't all work out but I'm looking forward to this very important offseason.

He has to start doing something.

Edinburgh. Unfortunately the earlier flight we had booked got cancelled so just grabbed what was left. So it is a real flying visit, Sunday flight home is super early too ?

Still get to see the sabres though. We fly out on the Tuesday. Going to the following

    Rangers v penguins

    Devil's v senators

    Devil's v penguins

And an NBA game - Knicks v mavericks

Trip is for my mate to see penguins for first time.

Very interested to see if Ralph shakes things up after brutal game by all three members of the Eichel line.

It is a testament to his structure - and maybe to the players Botterill gave him - that we can win a game when the big line plays that poorly. That never would have happened under Housley: The shake-up, or the winning when Jack Jeff and Sam didn’t work.

I’m curious if the players want the shake-up or if they want another chance.

And if that matters to their coach.

How would you change it. Who would you move from eichels line?

  4. Remember it well 18 years on. Sitting at work and then getting an email from a workmate that a plane had hit the north tower and thinking it was a tragic accident, 20 mins later he emails me again that the south tower had been hit and suddenly my thinking completely changed from "accident".

Will never forget visiting ground zero 2 years ago, found it one of the most moving experiences of my life and so glad that I did it.
