For the first time I am questioning Botts ability to make this better. I wish now we had made a move for ken Holland last summer when he left Detroit.

Hopefully Cozens will be ready next year although I don't want him rushed. Would like to see ruustolainen get a chance too. Reckon pekar will be in Rochester. Do we get lucky in the draft? Hopefully thompson and mitts are ready and pushing for a spot.
Time for us to move on from Larsson and girgensons which should have happened this season.

Grit wasn't really in his equation but we were supposed to be all fast and furious. I do not believe this year was planned failure, but I do believe it is failure at that.
Certainly feels like it is turning out to be a failure. Doesn't help though Skinner and ollofson still out, will be interesting to see what Krueger does with Skinner as he is expected back first and if he puts him on jack's left?

Starting to think Botts plan for this season all along was to progress a little bit further again from last year but likely still miss playoffs and then work with the cap space to put things in place with a view to making playoffs in 20-21. I am beginning to seriously doubt if he is capable of doing this and his lack of trade activity is another massive frustration. Still can't believe why he brought a lot of last year's players back. Girgensons and Larsson need a fresh start elsewhere. Please Botts give them that.
So frustrated and angry with this team!!!

The thing that irks with me the most is I look back to around this time 5 years ago and hopeful of getting and eichel/mcdavid and looking forward to things getting better. Now at this time in 2020 I am so thoroughly fed up and disgusted with the whole situation. I am now for the first time in botterills tenure starting to seriously question whether he should remain and that he actually knows what he is doing???

Standard is ok probably on a par with the German del 2 league. Crowds are ok. Flyers usually average 1500. Clan more in 2500-3000 range although sabreoath will know better than me.

RFA's for off season-
ERod- let walk or include in trade package before deadline
Olofsson- want to see him signed to a two year bridge around $3.5 million, or longer 5 year deal at $5.5 million
Montour- should be able to sign for 5 years around $4.5-5.5 million
Reinhart- would like to see what Sabres could get on trade market for him, I don't care if it is a sign and trade. We need more grit and I believe Reinahrt is the best option to bring in a top tier forward
Ullmark- should be resigned for 3 years at around $3-4 million. He is the goalie until UPL is ready
Fair enough assessment.

I'm thinking Another good player on the way by looks of it. Not the scenario I wanted though. Here we go again. Another top 10 pick. Anyone of lafrenierre, byfield, Raymond or holtz would do. But keep thinking here we go again.

Right now Reinhart and Mojo look like 3rd line players. They are killing our PP too.
You not feel at this moment that asplund and Lazar are better bottom 6 options? Not expecting them to be top 6.

One good thing this season. Asplund seems to have earned his spot. I would also keep Lazar around. Will be interesting to see what happens with Rodrigues
