KA is showing some backbone here and it requires patience on our part.

The worst thing he could do is panic sell, which is what we've seen from recent Sabres GMs.

Holding the asset until you receive fair market value is the correct play... albeit something we're simply not used to as Sabres fans, so we get posts like this, smh.

Thanks for helping me to put my popcorn down. Your comment makes perfect sense.

I think this group of youth need a player(s) to lead them on and off the ice.

In order to have some overlap in case of injury or something, I suggest that the Sabres do a 'co-captain' thing like with Briere and Drury.  One will wear the 'C' at home and the other will wear the 'C' on the road.  They will wear an 'A' when the other is wearing the 'C'.

I give you the 2021/22 Buffalo Sabre co-captains ... Zemgus Girgensons (home) and Kyle Okposo (away).

The other 'A' will be worn by Skinner for all games.

    Therefore, I voted 'other'.

I was going to say None, but you give a significant argument to go with Other.

A friend of mine roomed with Barney in juniors. Said he was a ***** nut job. Would always destroy the rooms for no reason.

As I said in another thread, he had some really horrible home issues when he was growing up - and it appears that he's never gotten over them.

Anybody remember how he broke his hand?  Throwing a sucker punch at Ulfie.

Are you talking about Oaf Samuelsson?

And the people who just have to be ahead of you?

Steering wheel holders who might as well be asleep at the wheel - especially if they're in the passing lane trying to reenact an opening scene from Revenge of the Nerds.

You need some of them spike lugs.  Didn't chariots of Colosseum times have those?  I always envision two tractor trailers trading sparks with those things at 2 am on some interstate main drag.

Interesting idea, but there's no way I would legally be allowed to go Road Warrior or Ben-Hur on those guys. After all, the abundance of lawyer billboards are a reminder of why not to do that. Besides, they may get their comeuppance one day.

  7. One thing I can't stand in the trucking industry is when I go to pass another driver, a few of them speed up so I can't pass them; not just once, but at least twice. I got on the CB radio and told this one driver that I didn't have time to play that game. If he has time to play, then he needs to go to the closest DMV office in his home state and surrender his CDL.

As forum I would assume that the majority are larger Sabres fans than Bills fans, but I’ve gotta imagine a very large contingent of the board cares far more about the Bills right now, right? I still don’t follow the Bills anywhere as closely I do Sabres, but I couldn’t even tell you the last time the Sabres were one of the things to excite me the most in life.

Here. Let me help you go back in time. This should jog your memory. https://www.google.com/search?q=andrew+peters+golf+swing&oq=&aqs=chrome.0.35i39i362l5...5.-1j0j7&client=ms-android-sprint-us-sscr-revc&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8&no_sw_cr=1&ved=1t%3A46160&zx=1631149921964#

Jerry Jones has so much power and sway in the NFL despite failing to do anything worth discussing on the field in decades.

And that's why I love to refer to his team as Jerry's Kids.

  10. So, yesterday, I complained about bad customers on Facebook Marketplace. Today, I have nothing but praise for the good customers.

I remember one gal who kept me up to date when she was delayed by an accident and had to take a detour. Instead of keeping me in the dark, she updated when and where she was, and how long it would take her to get to my place to buy a desk from me.

Thanks guys.  I see a Neurologist Monday and my GP Tuesday.  I don’t like pills but may need something. 🙅🏼‍♀️

On the upside I slept so much those few days I’ve caught up on a few shows. Lol

Do you have an update for us?

    Evander Kane approves.

    Too soon?

I kinda thought the same thing, but I figured that Pete Rose would be the poster boy for that. For someone who should have been in Cooperstown a long time ago had he not f***ed up like he did, this is a part of his legacy that he will never live down even after they put the final nail in his coffin. Just ask Shoeless Joe Jackson.

Does anyone else watch "reaction videos" of people listening to songs for the first time?  I have a few YouTube channels that I follow, but one in particular has captivated me:  The Charistmatic Voice.  It's the blog of Elizabeth Zharoff, an opera singer and voice instructor who has several reaction videos of rock and metal songs.  She is so earnest, so technically brilliant, and so lovely that I can't get enough of her (yes I know that sounds creepy).

She is technically very knowledgeable about vocal performance, yet literally swoons to songs by the Righteous Brothers... and still manages to break down why their songs are so good.

I wonder how she would break down and analyze George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher.

The majority of them are not anti-vax and anti-mask because they are losing control or status. It is because a certain power group is telling them to be anti-vax and anti-mask. it is a self-built wedge issue built upon a fringe element.

Gonna be so great hearing the excuse shift to well the fda is just rubber stamping it and the approval doesn't mean anything

I am just so sick of the bravo sierra coming from these talking heads. You're right: there is a pattern with all of them. They're trying to connect imaginary dots, and they're making fools out of themselves in the process. Even worse, some of them who claim to be Christians are taking things to an unnecessary extreme. Granted, I know I'm not perfect, and I'm not going to say that I'm better than them for not buying into their narrative. However, common sense and about 30+ years of studies in the Scriptures have convinced me to take some other things into account that they don't appear to be considering - and that's why I took the vaccine.

Having said that, stupid can't be fixed. https://www.wkrn.com/news/conservative-talk-show-host-phil-valentine-dies-after-covid-19-battle/

That article was saying Balsillie could go after them and give it another try to move them to Hamilton like he tried years ago, but I don't know if he has the money anymore. That was during the heyday of Blackberry being one of the big smart phone manufacturers. They aren't what they used to be and I don't think he has all that spending cash anymore......

    IOW, one trick pony.

Let's hope it stays that way.
