  1. He had two huge surgerys season 2015-2016, both his hips were screwed. I dont know and cant really tell either, have not seen one single game with him this season and ive only seen him once in AHL live last season when i flew from Sweden to Buffalo, when they beat springfield falcons in overtime. Edit: I've seen Ullmark here in Sweden tons of games, ive litterly watched the kid grow up. I know the guy well, we speak from time to time personally and i just know for a fact that he is special, he can do things most goalies cant and i have big hopes for his future in Buffalo Sabres organisation, but we're all wrong from time to time, i just hope future will tell that im right in this part. But to answer your question somehow i guess future will tell. I dont believe its easy for a goalie in AHL no matter what team were talking about, seeing his defence beeing messed with all season long, ppl beeing pulled up and down etc, that must have an impact on a goalie for sure, some games he knows he can trust his d and he can play a different game, sometimes he cant. What do you believe ? I was hoping for Ullmark in Buffalo before this season started but then they resigned Chad and i immediately realized Jbots plan for Rochester. Unless Chad or Robin gets injured Linus will stay in Rochester this season, and honest truth i also feel for Rochester and i would really like to see them as a team provide for their supporters, go to calder cup and do well, everyone in Rochester deserves it, i liked the town and i miss Dinos BBQ so much hehe.
  2. I did not try to teach you hockey, dont put words in my mouth. Im done with you.
  3. Not a singel number of stats youve pulled is correct. What do you want me to say? I do like what your saying, we are having a conversation. We disagree on Ullmark when it comes to how we believe he performs, but you brought statistics into this and i could tell right away that you cant read the statistics the right way. Ive explained many times already how they need to be read but you dont seam to care or listen so what do you want me to say? You go to stats, you click on SV% on a season, in your mind the guy in the top spot with higest sv % is the best goalie even if he only played 1 game over a whole season because your way of reading stats tells you that. It doesnt work that way. It would be correct if you had 50 goalies and all of them had played 50 games over a season, then the numbers would be fair. That is not the case here and will never happen, and that is why you cant read stats the way you do, its completely wrong. Its not fair either, lets say you have 10 goalies 9 of them play 10 games, they all have 1 game with shotout, lets say they all get 0.950% SV which is rly good after 10 games. The final goalie playes 1 game and dont let a goal in. Do you honestly believe that tells you that this goalie is better than all the rest just because he has better sv %? Evenhough all 10 have 1 game with shotout. Then lets say he playes another 9 games and suddenly his SV is 0.890 for example, then its fair to say the other 9 is better than him statisticly. Agreed? This is why you need to be more consistant when reading stats. I dont know what else to say to make you understand so im gonna let this one go after this post. I did not mean to offend you in any way, i was simply trying to help you understand by proving you wrong and explaing why your wrong with your way of reading statistics regarding goalies. Cheers
  4. You are "cherry picking" stats since you obviously dont understand statistics.
  5. And i love that you have and want to express your opinion, i share your point of view regarding this 100 %. That is what were all here for, to discuss and have fun hopefully. I strongly believe you need to revalue the way you look at statistics. Linus Ullmark played most games out of all goalies last season and he ended up beeing 10th out of all goalies that played 39 games or more, Linus played 55. You cant just choose SV% on theahl.com on goalie stats and then go with what it says on the one that comes first, you need to actually look on the statistics. Agreed? :flirt:
  6. Here is a new vid of Linus Ullmark for those who are interested: Americans Made: Linus Ullmark Nov 14, 2017 02:43 We go down to Rochester to learn more about Amerks goaltender Linus Ullmark https://www.nhl.com/sabres/video/americans-made-linus-ullmark/t-277437090/c-54582303
  7. I dont want to be rude, but you are kind of wrong here. Your right in a way, Linus holds spot 19 in %, if you only look at save % and not include anything else. But you cant compare a goalie that has played 1 game versus a goalie that has played 11 games. I hope you agree on this This is how i see the stats and how i believe you need to look at stats to be correct 25 goalies has played 8 games or more and the board tell us this: This is top 6 goalies in AHL as of now 1. Garret Sparks, Toronto Marlies: 9 games played, 0.944 % - 237 Saves | Goals allowed: 14 2. Casey DeSmith, W-B Scranton, 8 games played, 0.936 % - 233 Saves | Goals allowed: 16 3. Thatcher Demko, Utica Comets, 8 games played, 0.928 % - 219 Saves | Goals allowed: 17 4. Christopher Gibson, Bridgeport ST, 8 games played, 0.925 % - 210 Saves | Goals allowed: 17 5. Eric Comrie, Manitoba Moose, 10 games played, 0.923 % - 289 Saves | Goals allowed: 24 6. Linus Ullmark, Rochester Americans, 11 games played, 0.921 % - 305 Saves | Goals allowed: 26 Im not saying your observations is wrong, i believe you, but i think Linus Ullmark is way better than your describing and last night he litterly raped Bingham Devils with allowing no goal on 31 shots.
  8. Atleast you like his personality, thats a start. Looking at last year the team was so bad that there were no hope for change. Atleast now it looks like something actually has happened to Rochester, Ullmark has 10 games played with 0.913 %, 6 wins It cant be all defence. Im 100% certain Linus Ullmark will prove you wrong.
  9. I guess we will see in the end of the season. We all can tell that you dont like Ullmark. He played more than any other goalie last season, with a team that was so bad, means that someone still has faith in him obviously. I bet you will change your mind when this season is done, if not ill buy you dinner at dinos buddy!
  10. Heya bud, i am. I made the gdt vs vancouver vith a vid, go check it out :D U all good? GO SABRES!
  11. Thank god you decided to start one! LETS GO SABRES!
  12. +1, great post!
  13. Out of all goalies that has played 8 games or more he is 4th in the league in save %. Hopefully he can improve!
  14. Thank you buddy! :D Mwooaaaa!! :D
  15. Thank you my dear friend!
  16. AWESOME! :D happy day! they won on my birthday!
  17. Ullmark is playing very well it seams. Great news, hope for Sabres sake Lehner gets cronic diarrhea. :P
  18. Matty m is so lost that its painful to watch, such a bad hockeyplayer, no sense at all. Im out, gnite boys
  19. well, i lied. robin lehner sucks
  20. sigh
  21. 3 points for Eichle tonight, yes you heard me!
  22. Well, A goalie cant win all games, but a goalie can for sure change a teams spirit. Ullmark is atm 7th of all goalies in AHL on games played vs save %, that is not bad at all. 324:49 15 0 2.77 3 3 0 164 179 0.916 There is no way they will call up Ullmark unless Robin or Chad is injured. But for now maybe that would be a good thing for us if that happened, this sound harsh and selfish but this is the only way he will be called up i believe. Ive seen Ullmark change a bad team to a good team by his positive mind, he did this twice here in Sweden. The team was in such bad shape, he got called up from Juniors and played so good, he started a thing with the fans after the games with a goaliedance etc, the wibes he sent actually worked both on and off the ice, and this shitteam actually eneded up a good team after all.
