This can be said for Ennis, Girgensons and Larsson they were all the number ones last year at some point and put up better numbers Ennis will be fine Girges will be fine Kane will be fine I for one do not like the line combos when healthy he should put Girgenson with ROR and have Reinhart (Spelling?) center the third line and develop as a center also has he tried Kane with ROR?

I believe Girgenson is not the player he was before. During this last year he was actually destroying people. During that same time I felt other players hit him very hard which should have drawn penalties but did not. This went on for sometime and resulted in him getting hurt. I do not think he will ever be the same. I am still a big fan and think he will be a major contributor but he will never have the big hits he had last year. again just my observations! Go Sabres! ps girgenson will fine!

I for one love this move, (to get ROR)...it reminds me of the Bennett move for the Bills in the early 90s...a big bold move to build a winner not just a get there kind of team!!! by the way I did not see it coming like everyone else...I was like "WOW" He is the real deal Go Sabres!!!

A 20 goal scorer who is big, fast, and finishes checks..hmmm....sounds like everything we have wanted all of these previous over paid former Sabres to be! This roster is so much better top to bottom from the last few years Go Sabres!!!!

He will be a solid third line guy last year he played with Flynn and Mitchel and was fine just think how much better he will be Grigs and Folgino

Who cares what Newbes think? Toughen up buttercups! This site is nice because if U post something stupid or silly people call u on it. It the bickering back and fourth that is interesting and I am the smartest guy in the room because I know I am not the smartest guy in the room...the trick is to take it all in and figure it out!!! Well said. For GMTM if Lehner is a legit number one Goalie he has done a masterful job of creating a solid team to make some noise in the playoffs!!! (Soon) If not he still has made moves to make the Sabres a tough team that should be hard to play against... I love it! Go Sabres!!!

I think he will do well as a stop-gap to start the season (if he makes the team) and be phased out as the year goes on. He could be a solid veteran in the locker room and help the young kids! (which they are) Sorry about the line through everything!!!! Go Sabres!!!

Zach B and Ristolainen are our best d-Men, with that said I am not sure if we should put them together, maybe to start the year and then as the young mature spilt them up to reduce their ice-time. Zach B is a solid all-a-round D man and is physical. The exact type of player you want come playoff time. GMTM seems to know what he is doing by making a team tough to play against in a playoff series and not one that just gets there! By the way I always liked Myers but Zach is what you want in a D-Man! Go Sabres

I think Marcus will be a very good fourth liner and an ok third liner. He has good size and will do well. He does need to be more consistent, if he could only play his brother's team every game! I also agree he needs to be a good PK player to make him a more complete player Go Sabres!!!

I think Matt M will be fine he led the team in assists and was third in goals (tied) I also think Matt moves down a line or two and this will improve the match-ups he will face and should have someone decent feeding him the puck which he needs as he is a finisher!!! Just think Matt M, Rienhart,(spelling?), and Giota as our third line. Go Sabres!!!

I think Number 4 will be a solid this year if he is part of the number one he will have a better partner this year and not have to do it all himself. if he is on the second pairing even better also I think the left handed vs. right handed D man is way over rated! go sabres!!! Also I thought the %&($# post was funny I would never have written that but it did make me LOL!

I think he will be very good This year should be better with better forwards so our D will get more points and in the NHL playing with the lead is a big difference
