    Your right, I just hope logic prevails for once. Buffalo is the perfect set-up for Mcdavid. State of the art training facility, a winger(Kane) that complements his style, and as I said before an owner thats willing to do whatever it takes to win cups. But logic has never been the league's strong suit.

    IMO if the league was "sending" players where they wanted this year. Sabres would get Mcdavid for obvious reasons. Yotes would get Eichel because he is big body to build around, plus you get the American kid in a American city for the fans. Oilers would get Hanifin well because they need defense. Now the reason I would say the leafs would get Strome is because why put Mcdavid in that level of dysfunction. But it's probably just wishful thinking.

    Just was reading a thn article saying the yotes need to lose more than the sabres, so they can get Mcdavid and save their franchise. This is what I don't get. Why would the league want to send a generational talent to a budget team that is failing and might be on the move. When he could go to the sabres, play close to his hometown, and for a billionaire who is willing to do whatever it takes to win a cup.

    Thanks for the info. No offense taken. Been reading everybody's posts for the last year or so and just thought it was time for me to put my two cents in. Since I'm the green leaf I expect a little hazing here from my sabres brothers and sisters. Well it's game time. GO SABRES!!!

    Conformist and trendy are two things I've never been called lol.. but in this case I don't mind. Sorry but I was sick of the old core and was ready for a change. IMO the tank gives us a chance to be great for many years to come. Will it? Who knows, but I'm all for it.

    Ok, maybe the best news this sabres fan could ever get. Ennis is holding this whole team up and IMO the one player who could completely derail the tank. Sorry but I am definitely pro-tank, do whatever it takes. So yeah to me it's as cool as the other side of the pillow. TANK ON!!!

    As long as Bogo is still shut down by the yotes games, I can see them taking the points. The way I see it Doan>Larsson and Gagner>Varone. Wingers are a wash and Ekman Larsson is a better dman than anything we have as long as Bogo is still out.

    Hmm I had the exact opposite thought after two periods. I thought he played with great speed, had some nice passes, and had a couple of slick moves that resulted in scoring chances. Was thinking Hudson, Kane, and Jack would make a dominate line for years to come.

    I don't get to watch many Sabres games cause I live in Florida, but from what I saw on nbcsn the last two games. Ennis is the spark plug that is driving this team's success. If we can find somebody with the flu to get their picture taken with him, we just might put this tank in the bag lol..

    Your right, just got to keep the faith! This shouldn't be that hard to accomplish, I mean we lost every game in January with a much better team. Just need to shake these lines up or something.

    With the sharks starting to implode and the canucks without Miller until the playoffs. I could see the yotes and oilers picking up a few points against those two teams.

    Honestly the way I see it, if we don't draft in the top two then this year is an utter failure. Whatever it takes. I got it, put Matt Ellis on the top line and Larsson on the third with Cody. Probably wouldn't score the rest of the year with that line up.

    Honestly this shouldn't even be up for debate, get Hackett his games. Definitely give him the start against the devils.

    Hey guys, been reading your thoughts for the last year or so. I have to say the win against Boston was a huge mistake. Thankfully, the oilers bailed us out a little. I was just hoping that I wouldn't have to be as invested in every game as I am at this point. After watching the game against the caps on Monday, I'm starting to see a lot of Backstrom' s style in Samson' s game. What do you guys think? Also I have been keeping up with their box scores online and Samson's point totals seem to be off. Averaging an assist a game, with most of his goals coming on the power play. Is something up or has he just lost interest in playing in the whl? Well thanks guys for all the info. TANK ON!!!
