  1. Recipe looks incredible. Since I love to cook and being a vegetarian i'll be trying this out (with vegetable stock of course).
  2. Talks are on-going to re-sign Boychuk. Whether it happens is another matter but both parties say the same thing, they are talking.
  3. If there is a vegetarian (vegan or gluten free person) I highly recommend Merge (http://mergebuffalo.com/). They do have meat dishes as well. Having been there numerous times and had a different drink and dinner each time I can't speak highly enough about the place. The food is great to excellent. Price is a bit more expensive (website has menu w/ prices). It's not a bar though. It's a pleasant restaurant, comfortable and casual. I go there in my Sabres' gear then walk to the stadium to work off the delicious food.
  4. I might, i'll have to check when I get home. Why do you want them?
  5. Fully agree. Don't like the tank but i'm not delusional thinking we are a playoff team. Still going to as many games as I can though despite the losses. I'll enjoy the wins when they happen.
  6. If only Ogden Nash had been a hockey fan. http://www.baseball-almanac.com/poetry/po_line.shtml
  7. Food is decent to average on an Excellent-Great-Good-Decent-Average-Underpar-Poor-Bad-Terrible scale. Prices are comparable to other sport bars. Menu isn't littered with things (a benefit) so it won't take long to pick something from the menu. Drinks are quite good if going to try different drinks. From talking with a few bartenders, they have bartended for years so if you have a certain drink you like that's not on the menu just ask for it. Wait time is decent now (30-45min). Still best to avoid the place for a 'quick' meal unless its appetizers at the bar or just drinks. Aesthetically stunning! Vegetarians are best to avoid it for food though.
  8. We really do need Myers, big contract or not. This has become more evident while we attempted to find other pairings during his injury. He makes a great pair with Gorges AND allows Ristolainen-Zadorov to stay a D-pair. Those two need more time developing before they are booming D-men. Myers as the top pair allow them the time. We shouldn't trade Myers. Nothing we can get for him will help. Our D needs to remain intact.
  9. Should the Sabres acquire Hall Nolan will certainly help him with attitude issues. Nolan is a motivator who pushes for a strong work ethic, team-work, and results. The Sabres already have leadership to help Hall fit in seemlessly. A concern though would be who should play on the same line as Hall. I am not a fan of breaking up the Moulson-Girgensons-Ennis line. They are a great 2nd caliber line (best line the Sabres have). I think a Foligno-Hall-Gionta(Stafford) is a good line for the season. Who to trade? Ristolainen-Zadorov should be immovable. They are fantastic on the ice together. I don't think any of the 1st rd picks should move either. The draft is deep enough for all the players the Sabres might get to be NHL caliber players. Some combination (3) of Stewart, Myers, Enroth/Neuvirth and Grigorenko, Pysyk, Ruhwedel, McCabe. Only 2 D-men should be traded at most. This sort of trade would help Edmonton and the Sabres. We wouldn't deplete our team much either.
