Sadly you’ll never hear the names of the lowest paid medical professionals on that field. EMS crews are the forgotten “heros”

He’s not a hero, he did his job just like every medical professional on that field Monday night. I’m sure he feels the same way. Whether you believe in prayer or not is irrelevant. What is relevant is how lucky Damar is that he basically had an emergency room on that field and the highest level of care was two minutes away. I guarantee if a fan went into sudden cardiac arrested in that stadium instead of Damar, the fan would most likely have died.

Just watched the third period since I fell asleep last night. Just imagine of they won that faceoff with 16 seconds left. The game could of ended in regulation but faceoffs don’t matter. Although this team really sucks at faceoffs, they still won! This team is finally fun to watch again and you can’t count them out

I know the EMS crews have protocols and their own medical direction but they had higher level of care on the field with them. I would think the doctors on the field would control the care and when to defib.

I’m sorry if this sounds bad but life has to go on. Playing could be a type of therapy for any sabres player who may know Damar. It will take their mind off of the tragedy for 60 minutes. Personally I’ve had espn & nfl network on most of the day hearing about the tragedy over and over. I need this game to take my mind off if it. I just wished i had bought tickets to tonight’s game so i could be there to support the Sabres and the Buffalo fans
