It's interesting people are still anti-Tank around here. Eichel and Reino may be experiencing growing pains, but are they really that dispensable to people? Because that's where we would be without the Tank.

2 more points for Pu in a 3-2ot win vs rival Windsor. Pissed cause I messed up recording the game. Currently 4th in OHL scoring. Good chance that 4 out of 5 top OHL scorers go to the WJC, so he has a real chance to win the scoring race since (for some reason) he isn't being considered for Team Canada

Not shocking. We had his rights for 1.5 months and he didn't take one step into Buffalo. It was all about the big city. No Cup. Not money. Not winning. Not teammates. He just flushed his career. Good for him.

What type of culture? Different races? Food? Concerts? Art museums? What?Culture unlike DC, and 24-7. DC used to be less constricted, post 911 became an armed camp. NYC has some restrictions but much more open. Still DC has free museums.
If we're talking a "feel" or "vibe", then I agree. Cities like LA, Chicago, DC have a different feel to them you could never find anywhere else.

I live in DC, so am a passive observer in this. But, you have my interest. What exactly can you find in NYC you can't find anywhere else? Are we talking people, architecture, climate, food, geography, drugs, healthcare, beer, fetishes, flights? Just point me in a general direction.No, not for everybody, but LOL at the guy who said you can pretty much find what you find in NYC anywhere.

The point is is that he's going to settle up and play. He's shown an incredibly inability to do so.

Actually, his decision has been remarkably consistent since he decided that he wanted to play his senior year and go to free agency. The only haziness since then is a product of bogus reporting and wild speculation. His stance has been the same this whole time, even through the trading of his rights.
Not to signing and heading to FA is a non-decision. He didn't have to make one decision to land where he is today. He landed where he is by default.

This kid (and I really mean kid) couldn't make a decision if his life depended on it. Most people on here would've said "let's make the best of this decision" and signed with Nashville years ago. Or, "let's roll" and signed with Buffalo. Him putting off a decision is an indictment of his inability to make a decision. I'd be shocked if he signs before the 20th.

Corey Pronman (sp?) is a hockey guy in my Twitter feed. Seems like a good one. I saw this note/post that he put on the Twitter and felt like it was spot-on:
Things that caught my eye: Solid NHL piece. Upside = average top-6 player (which is something). An old prospect.
The 2nd to last paragraph is a strawman argument. A reasonable alternative (but of course not mentioned) is to have the player re-enter the draft after his college career has finished.

He is charged with non criminal harassment as a result of all four complainants pressing those charges. My whole argument with you is those charges and his subsequent arrest on those charges have nothing to do with him being black.
But you just said "Sexual assault charges have nothing to do with anything here." What did you mean by that?

I'm asking you to imagine if P Kane (white) was in E Kane's shoes. You claim that if P Kane had four people pressing charges, he wouldn't have been arrested like E Kane was because he's white. Sexual assault charges have nothing to do with anything here. Not sure why you insist on conflating the issue.
We can all claim that the current charges against E Kane are "bullschit" charges, but four people have pressed and we won't know until it's either adjudicated or settled some other way whether they have merit or not.
Ok, let's just make this clear. Are you saying that EK's current charges of "harassment" have nothing to do with any perceived sexual assault in the past or present? He never laid a hand on a woman with the intent of it leading to undesired sexual advances? I don't want to conflate things.
