  1. I predict Bowl Yoo will have a dedicated section of the BoGo bunker by midseason.
  2. Matty Mo looks old.
  3. Eichel has been great on defense tonight. Shoot that Ryan!!!!
  4. That backhand would have beaten most on most nights. Perfectly placed.
  5. Wow what a nice shot by Eberle
  6. Jack is not a good pker
  7. Samson looked like the guy in the Eichel On the Bench video.
  8. And Gorges leveled that dude in front.
  9. He looks like Chucky all grown up.
  10. Falk standing next to Dunleavy looked like he should have bolts in his neck. Or they need better lighting.
  11. Too many players who are more than happy to slap the puck mindlessly into a corner or behind the net. Too few who get it and look to put it on net or get it to someone who can actually do something with it. Lot of activity little getting accomplished.
  12. Tough to be sure but he is gonna see them often.
  13. Lehner is gonna see alot of those type of situations if we play fire wagon hockey.
  14. Up front I want players who do the seemingly impossible whether by natural talent, hockey IQ or pure will. Perreault, Lemieux Molginly, Bure and Datsyuk were some favorites. But the second tier are the guys who just seem to be consummate pros. Messier, Sakic, Forsberg, Lafleur, Trottier, Gretzky, Crosby and McDavid are just in another class. On d Orr was the standard, though Park (yeah that one) Leetch, Coffee, Lidstrom Bourque Potvin were special. Karlson and Oel are the current rage but they need a bit more track to be thought of in the same light. We have a lot of good young players in the league and I enjoy watching them push the envelope. Including Jack.
  15. Have a riot! I will never forget my first game with my dad!
  16. I think Antipin is an NHL or KHL deal. If he is sent down he goes back to Russia. I remember that being tossed about earlier this offseason.
  17. There were two times I recall one with Reinhart and the other with Okposo( ithink) where we replaced a gassed player during OZone cycle while maintaining and sustaining pressure on the shift.
  18. I thought he played with urgency but the issues that plagued him, i.e. slow decision making, are still there. Maybe it is adapting to a new philosophy and role, but I am wondering how he fits. I also noticed that he didn't really separate speed-wise form some of the Pens journeymen. His skating style is very inefficient and looks like a lot of movement but it seemed like he was slightly above average in straightline speed. He seems like a great kid.
  19. Signs of life. Getting used to this style will take a bit of time. Adding our top 3 d will help.
  20. Poulliot was instrumental in our win at Edmonton last year with dumb lazy penalties.
  21. Huh...I see a lot of nonchalant efforts on the wall like someone who doesn't like playing there.
