  1. We're the 4th worst passing offense in the league. Granted, Tyrod makes magic with his feet, but I'm still not seeing anything special from the rest of him.
  2. We're saving $5.7 million this season and $2.4 million next season. I don't think the albatross contract holds much water here, since we're not saving that much. It's highly unlikely that a replacement for $5.7 million and $2.4 million will come close to his talent. I think it's much more likely that he was traded because of his attitude and off the field issues. If he's been a cancer in the locker room, that is also a huge factor.
  3. From ESPN: The Bills will save $5.73 million off their 2017 salary cap and $2.375 million off their 2018 salary cap. They also shed the 2019 through 2021 years of Dareus' deal at cap numbers of $16.985 million, $16 million and $14.65 million.
  4. Super Mario Odyssey is getting some great reviews. My pre-order should arrive tomorrow.
  5. Now more than ever, too. I guess their 4-2 record didn't impress him. Oh well, maybe we'll actually get something useful in return.
  6. First time all season we didn't score 2, but 1 was enough. Yay!
  7. Ahhh, all is right with the world again.
  8. I don't think True has set his lineup for two weeks now.
  9. To quote Nixon's chief domestic advisor, John Ehrlichman, when he started the war on drugs: “The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I’m saying? We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.”
  10. Lots of talent, but there's no way he'll fit in with what McDermott is trying to do here.
  11. This week is going well. The two teams above me are going to lose and the Bills didn't lose this week.
  12. Moana is good. I've never seen Frozen.
  13. I'm driving 8 hours tomorrow to spend a week in western NY. Not looking forward to the drive, am looking forward to seeing friends. The motivated person in me says find a ticket for the Vancouver game. The lazy person in me realizes that's not going to happen.
  14. Not my kind of game, but I love the aesthetic.
  15. Let's see... '99, up 2-0 on the Red Sox, lose series 2-3. '07, up 3-1 on the Red Sox, lose series 3-4. '16, up 3-1 on the Cubs, lose series 3-4. '17, up 2-0 on the Yankees, lose series 2-3. Anyone see the pattern? :( The only outlier to this pattern since '99 was '01, and even then it was almost the same story: up 2-1 and lost 2-3 to the Mariners.
  16. Okay, can you two 1-loss teams go ahead and lose this week, pretty please?
  17. All of my sports teams lost over the weekend. Thankfully, fantasy exists. The worst of my 3 teams scored 142.5.
  18. No kidding. This offense stinks against a team missing their starting corners.
  19. Oh boy, I hope it's not going to be one of those days.
  20. You done bitching yet?
  21. Well, this is becoming quite disastrous.
  22. Okay, come back time.
  23. Indeed. From 80-89, the Yankees had the most wins in the league, with 854. Detroit, 839, and Kansas City, 826, were the next on the list. The Dodgers, the only team to win more than one World Series in that decade, was tied for 4th with 825 wins.
  24. On the one hand, I love seeing the Tribe come back to win after being down 8-3. On the other hand, the Yankees got screwed on a HBP call that didn't touch the batter, which loaded the bases and allowed Francisco Lindor to hit a grand slam. Awesome and kinda sucky at the same time.
