Make no mistake, they are laughing at some of our “proposals”, too

Let them laugh then. They are the ones trying to spin off their mediocrity.  Hart is worth a roll of the dice, but nobody is giving up much.  A high second rounder in a deep draft is more than adequate, with an average young goalie (UPL) going back.

Some reputable Flyers fan allegedly with connections inside the organisation.

If I were Adams, I’d hang up the phone immediately and never do business with Briere ever again.  That is a laughable request.  I guess UPL, Bryson, and our second could secure us Jiricek +?

Since hitting a player without the puck is considered interference, what hits aren’t valued and encouraged?

If the coaching staff is encouraging less physical play from the team, then they have no one to blame then themselves when playing games where physical play is warranted.

Not trying to nitpick here, but adding to your point.  How about the hitting of defensemen during the forecheck when the puck is gone during the "grace period"?  I think this is a legitimate gray area where the Sabres need to pick up the aggression, especially if they make the playoffs.  Finishing your check in this manner leads to turnovers galore, and is equally important as hitting somebody with the puck to get possession.  Maybe Adams is equating these things, but by the way the Sabres play, I have my doubts.

In '99, we employed this strategy against Ray Bourque to great effect.  We pounded him into oblivion and he coughed up the puck fairly consistently cause he knew he was going to get punished repeatedly.  Similarly, there is a highlight from '93 that illustrates this perfectly when Bourque saw May coming, panicked, and coughed it up to Mogilny for a goal.

Don't know if he's correct or not, but Biron on Sabres Live today said he'd heard the game jerseys would still be made in the same factory that Adidas has been making them.  So, if they can get the same fabric rather than the junk they usually use, it might not be as horrible as it sounds at first.

That’s true.  St. Hyacinthe, Quebec if I’m not mistaken.

Guess I only have 1 year to buy jerseys then. Sucks.

I'd give them a chance.  Fanatics gets a bit of a bum steer as they are chartered to make a cost sensitive replica jersey.  Most of Fanatics garb I have is from a few years ago, so maybe the quality has gone down, but all my Fanatics branded T-shirts are comfortable and durable.   I don't own any Fanatics breakaway jerseys though.

There was a lot of teeth gnashing when Adidas took over a few years ago, but I found their jerseys to be the most comfortable, and best fitting when compared to previous manufacturers.  The biggest gripe that I have with Adidas is that they didn't make their "MiC" true Authentics available to the general public, like CCM had done years ago with their Center Ice collection (not to be confused with the practice jerseys).

  6. On the positive side:

Dahlin turned the corner into a stud, and Power has progressed nicely all year.  I thought Power was going to be a Dahlin redux of sorts (put up good numbers, but be god awful in his own zone).

Offense is more dynamic than I thought it would be

    On the negative side:

Really thought Mittelstadt was going to have 2021-22 Tage Thompson type year.

Team defense is very lackluster and is still committing multiple sins (not getting the puck deep, forwards missing assignments, watching the puck instead of taking the body, etc.) that plagued them last year.

That's the most effective we've seen olofsson all year. We need the player more.

***** Ralph Krueger. Rasmus Dahlin is a vibe right now and man oh man is he electric.

I never would have thought a coach could screw up somebody so bad, yet here we are.  Dahlin looks vastly different from the beginning of last year, and gets better with every game.  The guy just has a superstar presence now.
