I saw that. The thing I'm talking about is the strong-wrist stickhandling that lets guys like Kane break Norris trophy winners' ankles. It's great that Mitts can do stuff like he did, and his hands are far from being bad, but I have seen Zemgus consistently capable of knocking pucks down the same way. When I criticize Mitts' hands, it's more the traditional stickhandling I see from elite hands guys that is completely absent from Mitts, as well as essentially every player on our roster, so I always bristle at the suggestion of "tantalizing skill." Not from suggestions that he will be a good player that can do good things with his hands.

Crazy that Dahlin saw that play developing like that.

One of the most irritating things in hockey is when you win an offensive zone faceoff and the puck goes between all skaters and out of the zone

The McCabe-Risto pairing has been allergic to tape-to-tape passes lately, sheesh. They're vomiting the puck up

Yeah it was no big deal, but Vicky and Sam were both open, and we lost the puck to Carter and the top line spent their shift chasing because of it.

Risto shouldn't have dumped that puck in. Oh well. Johansson smooooooth

Mitts deserves those points because he has had a very good week of hockey.

I believe each of our top three lines has now been on the ice for 5 even strength goals. Imagine if Jack's line can start to pull away.

That was the kind of goal we all pictured Sheary scoring with Jack when we acquired him. I'm cool with him doing that on the Mitts line while Jack and Jeff do their thing Vlad keeping it simple. Last year he keeps going and that puck gets squeezed out of him on the boards.
