The Sabres appear to have finally figured out how to develop players properly. They are not going to keep Benson with the team unless they feel it’s the best situation for Him. Patrick Kane, Jack Hughes and Zach Benson were all 5’10” their draft years and weighed between 165-170. If he stays I do not think it would be in Top 6 Role to start, a third line of Greenway-Mitts-Benson would be interesting.
