I was getting pretty tipsy so I decided to pull a Larry David and walk over to one and say: “Ya know…Bret Hull’s skate was in the crease in ‘99” He got all pissed and started explaining to his girlfriend as he walked away that I was wrong. Whatever

I’m in a cab near 42nd street and when he got in the cab driver asked where we were from and first thing he said was “ah, you guys have a great hockey team.” I smiled and said thanks meekly

When they first signed him (EJ) he said he wants to keep playing after this season.

Yes, I thought he is just excellent. The puck goes back in our zone, he goes and gets it, and its almost always out of the zone before you know it. He also uses his body to block people out well.
