  1. what do you think put Biron in ?

I'm not watching the game but from what I'm hearing from the guys on the radio Miller is blowing it. If he doesn't have it, put Marty in. Every win is so important. Miller needs to sit and watch for awhile. I play a lot of chess and sometimes I just need to get away for awhile and I usually come back stronger

  2. what gives with your entire post? (just kidding) it is 3-1. the caps scored on a quick drive to the net after the 2-1 faceoff.

lol, actually I just clicked on yahoo and they still have 2-1. Maybe there are two games taking place? The alternate world Miller made the same on that break away while this world's Miller got scored on!

  3. Anyone else notice that Buccigross thinks that not only will Philly win their division, but that Buffalo will finish below both the Philly AND the Rangers? Buffalo would have to slip a bit and both the Rangers and Philly would have to get really hot. We're currently 7 points ahead of NY with a game in hand, and 9 points ahead of Philly with 2 games in hand. It's definitely possible that one of them will finish with a better record, but I think Buffalo would have to fall apart for both of them to do so.

What Crap!! Philly, as I predicted, is fading fast. Old and slow. I thought the Devils might catch them but they are looking pretty sad too. As are the Rangers. I gotta admit, I want our boys to win that President's trophy!

The Sabres trade defenseman Jocelyn Guevremont to the New York Rangers for draft picks they turn into goaltender Jacques Cloutier and forward Sean McKenna.

The Sabres lead 4-0 at one point in Calgary but eventually lose, 10-4.

    March 12, 2002

Two days after an emotional win over former goalie Dominik Hasek, the Sabres fall flat at home against former captain Michael Peca in his return to Buffalo. The Islanders shut out the Sabres at HSBC Arena, 3-0, but Peca does not score. In fact, in four games against the Sabres that season, Peca tallied neither a goal nor an assist and finished -1. The loss ended a modest three-game winning streak for the Sabres, their longest of the 2001-2002 season.

I don't remember either of them. Then again, we lost to the Islanders so much in the years before this one, they all seem to blend together into one bad memory!

That's what made this so sweet!

  5. I believe Marty will get the start tomorrow(he was getting it regardles of today game) and then Ruff will come right back with Miller against the Captials.

I agree, just saying that if Miller goes into a slump we have a guy that won 12 straight games and I wouldn't be surprised if Ruff just handed the marshall's baton to him and said go to it.
