I was thinking same thing, or Pysyk isn't ready???The whole Mezaros/Benoit/Pysyk situation really makes you wonder if GMTM had a grand plan all along. No way Benoit and Mezaros fell off thus far from last year. Murray did his homework, knew these guys were terrible and placed him squarely on his blue line for the tank.

He seems like a nice young man who didn't like the tiny town of Winnipeg. Not the place for a rich young guy. If he scores thirty goals a season he is the biggest steal in awhile
Nice post. I agreeI'm so ready for this. The image of the Sabres psyche for a while has been the fragile player who's not measuring up. Myers epitomized this; Stafford wasn't far behind. The GMTM ethos seems to be the player that you can stress and he doesn't give a F. Bring it. I guess the "hockey smarts" GMTM looks for includes a certain strength of character and belief in self. If you're fragile, you can leave.

If Kane turns back into a 30+ goal scorer I think the Sabres win this trade hands down. Would not surprise me at all if Lemieux and Armia never pan out in the league and who knows about a late first round pick. 30 goal scoters do not grow on trees and the Sabres may have just landed one for a song
