tucker has to be kidding me falling like a bag of crap b/c of a one-arm shuffle by peters. man, i hate that guy. (tucker...)
And Dom's dive! Terrible! That goal should have counted, but its in Toronto

Please win tonight. Please, please, please, please, please!
I think we will see the team respond, especially with a few good players returning
-
Miller sucks. That 6th goal was pathetic and then someone else lobbed a shot from the point that went off the cross bar. I hope he snaps out of it

Wish I could join the chat, but it doesn't work for me. Please... guys... Schedule. Injuries. Officiating. They don't explain this tailspin. We need someone with credibility to analyze this team's woes -- and it's clearly not going to be Jim Lorentz, who is using the schedule excuse and talking about how the Sabres think they can get back into this game when there's no indication they have a pulse tonight. Roby, please, talk to us.
IMHO, you have to go back to the loss in Ottawa and explain what "lockerroom issues" Danny Briere was talking about afterwards. Such a weird comment after seeing an eight-game winning streak end.
I can't explain this. It's so bizarr. Great team suddenly turns into a lemon. Tonight is just a disaster.

That play was off side, anyone else see that?

I hope he can stay healthy for the rest of the season. He does make a difference on this team. More that people think when he is not in the lineup.
I have to admit I wanted him gone from this team, but I now think he might be the best offensive player on the team. We have missed him.
-
Welcome back Tim! :P
-
If you listen to Lindy Ruff's morning Press Conference, it sounds like Connolly could be back in the lineup tonight.
Excellent!

At the risk of repeating myself...CAMPBELL SUCKS IN HIS OWN END!
On the first goal, he just stood there as the Ottawa player went between him and McKee. On the third goal, he was standing by himself next to the net as the puck went in. I'd swear he was flinching thinking the puck might hit him instead of the inside of the net.
Lindy needs to stop this freefall quickly. I completely disagree with those on this board who would rather finish fifth or sixth instead of fourth.
Darcy...You didn't want to disrupt team chemistry by not making a trade, but it looks like the chemistry has fizzled??
I don't recall where Cambell was on the third goal but you are right about the first one. He was getting beat and McKee had to come over and help him which freed up Alfredson to score

It was great seeing them again after two years, though. When that game came on, I was like Andy Dufresne emerging from the sewer pipe in "The Shawshank Redemption." Air. Water. A clean change of clothes. The Sabres on TV. What more do you need in life?
Welcome back to the world! I guess most of us were the same way when the season first started with that Islanders game. A whole year off! I'll say this. Watching the Sabres on a losing streak is better than not watching them at all

:P :P
The Boston Bruins! Just what the doctor ordered!
:D  B-)
-
OH THAT'S F**KEN BULL SH*T!!!! THAT PUCK WOBBLED UP IN THE AIR AND ALMOST BECAME FLAT, IT MUST HAVE GONE IN!
-
Come on boys, let's get a goal or thre or four!
-
Agreed so many people will jump on you because you team is in a mini slump... even ottawa has had a slump or two... I think we've been spoiled a little bit this past few months... time to wake up.
Ya, its a tough stretch and there is going to be highs and lows, espically with a young team like this
-
5 goals, five shots....wow, that';s their 5 goals to our 5 shots
-
They're taking bets in Vegas on this game for the over/under...no not the score, Peters Ice time...Last I saw was 2:00.
Maybe we should make this a new thread, the "Andrews Peters Joke Thread"
-
I also heard on WGR that Connolly will not play, but on a positive note...Peters will dress in his place. <_<
LOL

Both Gil Perreault and Andre Savard net hat tricks as the Sabres bomb the Maple Leafs 14-4 at the Aud. For the record, Michel "Bunny" Larocque and Jiri Crha were in goal for the Leafs on that unforgettable night when the Sabres scored nine goals in the second period! Two nights later, in a rematch at Maple Leafs Gardens and with Larocque back in goal, the Sabres routed the Leafs again, 6-2.
I very much remember that game!

WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!

If they come out and actually get some shots on Emery, I think we can score 2 in the 3rd. As it stands, I think you could pull someone out of the stands and put them in net and get the same result as Emery. Not to take anything away from him, but he hasn't really been busy.
fat lady hasn't sung yet, but she is warming up
-
that two-man advantage was a joke, they were playing with us
-
22 shots??? Jesus!
Wow. They could have had the Cirque de Soleil playing in the Ottawa end of the ice to entertain the fans in that end of the arena and the Sabres wouldn't have disrupted the show one bit.
The Sabres looked like men against boys out there. Are they over-matched against a Sens team that is taking them very seriously, or are the Sabres playing scared?
Either way, let's hope a good old fashioned beating is a learning experience for the team, and not a confidence destroyer.
This game isn't over yet

Well at least Miller showed up to play.
True, it would be 5-0 if it wasn't for him
