Lukas Rousek, Viktor Neuchev, Zach Metsa, and Nikita Novikov totaled one assist each in the win.
Devon Levi (1-0) made 35 saves in his postseason debut to become the first rookie goaltender to win a playoff game for Rochester since Andrey Makarov did so on May 2, 2014. Levi was also the first netminder to earn the win in his debut since Ryan Miller on April 20, 2005.

Good point. The onus was on Myers to become that #1 defender by merit and he simply wasn’t good enough.
Is he good now? Have not kept up on him

I will now (rather bravely, if I do say so myself) interpret the poll findings!
Poll obviously shows a lingering cautiousness abetted by a genuine sense of hopefulness.
That's it

Love the hire.
A little less enthused overall today by the running narrative im seeing come to the forefront, about the length of contract meaning Adams gets a further 2 years to make the playoffs. I just feel so thoroughly in my bones that this should be a do or die year.
Finally it was “it’s about winning!”
“it’s about winning…but not QUITE yet” just doesn’t invoke the same confidence
Still love Ruff and the hire. My line still comes down to this season, though. I am going to try very hard to be a man of my word and stick to that line regardless of whether the team does.
he said he is a better coach now, which I hope is true. He sure seemed happy to have UPL. After Jersey's goalie situation, I bet he is happy

After watching the press conference I felt less confident that this was a good move. They all seemed to cozy. But it is what it is, I guess

Of course, Power should not be here to be challenged (he is the trade centerpiece to upgrade the forward group). If he is, though, I, too, will be interested to see the result - it may be Power's only hope.
Power should not be traded

He has to love the situation he is stepping into. Talent all over the place, all failure in the past and the future his to relish in with all the young up and comers for him to use as he will
He was fired in NJ because the goaltending was horrible, Not here and now. He might take this team far

We lost that series 0-4. Do I remember this right: LaFontain was hurt, Muckler played Grant Furh instead of the unknown Hasek, Mogilney broke his leg in game four and the Candiens won several of the games--maybe 3?--in OT. They then won the cup.
