  1. My understanding is that Ullmark wanted an extra million a year over what the Bruins were offering, would you have paid that? I dunno. I don't blame him for passing on that
  2. So he gets to wear this during games?
  3. Wow, there's some pretty bad goalies on that list! Carter Hutton again makes the list! For the last time I would assume
  4. I just wonder what a trade would look like. We have all those draft picks but can you get a starting goalie for a first round pick? Would we have to give up Mitts or Olli to get a good goaltender? I get people are down 9n Adams, and that might be justified, but the market for goalies isn't great and the price will be high, I would imagine. Now watch, we will send a fourth rounder to some team for a nobody who will turn into the next Vezina winner
  5. Yup, and look at how the best goalie in franchise (league?) history fell into our lap
  6. Thank God for the Sabres, the only sports team I follow. Win lose or lose in shoot out, they are still close to my heart ❤️
  7. The seven days battles! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Days_Battles Hope we do do better than McClellan and the Union army did then. Rangers are tough
  8. Not sure how this situation gets better soon. Goalies don’t grow on trees and lots of teams are in the market for a goalie. We do have draft picks to trade but the price will probably be high. The lottery ticket strategy of getting lucky and finding someone on waivers or something is that might work, but probably not. Toker has been good, I don’t blame him for last game at all, the defense just has to play better.
  9. Tage does well shielding the puck, also. But good points
  10. Who isn't admitting the team--or any damn team for that matter--doesn't have real issues?? Huh? Ya, they need to get better and part of that if being tougher and more physical. This is at the point of screaming in an echoing cave
  11. Like the Calgary goalie, is the shut out all his? No, he didn't have a very tough night
  12. Yes, humans have biases. That's why auditions for orchestras are done blind. Before they did them blind women never got hired. I have no idea, would depend on the other team. If it had a team of Marios L's and V. Hedmans, I'd go with that team. Which is still an advantage of size
  13. Oh, why would you do that to Bjork???
  14. Sure, talent is key, I'm not arguing otherwise. Never did. But bigger stronger players are valuable and necassary. Do you think a whole team of high talent but smaller players is the way to go?
  15. Still gotta clear out front of net, and win battles in corner. So, if two players are equal in talent, but one is bigger and strong than the other, who would you pick to play on your team?
  16. Fine, switch Chara for, oh, how about Hagg? That ok? Who would you rather have clear out front of net?
  17. Oh, well let's see. Look at how Chara used his size to become a future hall of famers while smallish, though skilled, Butcher will probably not have a long NHL career See what I did there?
  18. Ya, we had no room to move out there. They really had the interference thing down, I mean all forecheckers got bumped.
  19. Ok, read it. Not really impressed. I mean I'd rather have Chara clearing out the front of the net than Will butcher, for instance.
  20. Maybe some big players create more space, opportunity and situations that allow smaller skilled players to thrive.
  21. What type of truck?
