  1. That's awesome for Boston to do that.
  2. Wow. I read somewhere that the Cap was just a total joke, most teams are over it something? And that sure makes it look like we got TNT for a good price
  3. Makes me wonder why the Kings gave up a third for him. Do they have an inside angle on him or is this just a shot in the dark to try and convince him to sign with them?
  4. Here are more notes from Wednesday's practice at KeyBank Center. 1. Granato said he does not expect Dahlin to play at home against Tampa Bay on Saturday in addition to missing Thursday's game in Boston. "I don't want to rush him back with the type of issue he's dealing with," Granato said. "So, I don't expect him back Saturday, but I don't have any feedback on (Dahlin's skate) this morning yet." 2. Stillman was greeted by familiar faces upon his arrival in Buffalo. His father, Cory, was a longtime NHL forward who won his second Stanley Cup alongside Sabres general manager Kevyn Adams as members of the Carolina Hurricanes in 2006, when Riley was 8 years old. "We talked today, actually, some old memories of when I was kind of buzzing around the room as a kid folding towels and hanging out with the trainers and doing all that stuff and picking his brain," Stillman said. Cory Stillman was also teammates with Jeff Skinner during Skinner's rookie season in 2010-11. 3. The Sabres visit the Bruins at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Coverage on MSG begins at 6:30 p.m. https://www.nhl.com/sabres/news/buffalo-sabres-riley-stillman-press-conference/c-341688622
  5. Of course, it’s sports so nothing is guaranteed . But I’d wager our future is brighter than theirs. Sabres look like a team on the rise, Ottawa, maybe, maybe not
  6. That's kind of the point, Ottawa's picks will probably be better than ours. We would have had to give up more to top the Sens offer
  7. IMO, only if he gets away from JJ Peterka.
  8. Beautiful out here in WNY! 61 and sunny, no wind I'm off for a long bike ride πŸ˜€
  9. Oh, he also talked about his daughters hockey tournament in Rochester!
  10. I was never a fan of his. I was always saying that RJ should take over. I would turn on the radio and turn down the sound on the tv. I didn't start watching Sabres until 1979 so maybe I just caught Darling on the down side
  11. They are like that all the time. Almost pointless just listening on the radio. It’s pathetic
  12. Luck is where preparation meets opportunity --Vince Lombardi
  13. We should all want that! πŸ™‚
  14. If they started Bob Sauve they would of done better πŸ˜‡
  15. I'd think Anderson would get the nod in the playoffs, but for how long?
  16. I could see this team really doing well in a long playoff grind. The more they play, the better they do, it seems. Though if they do blow out a team, a long layoff might kill them
