I definitely remember my first shift I got pinned in my zone with (Detroit stars Pavel) Datsyuk and (Henrik) Zetterberg on the ice. It was over a minute long I think. Remember that the most, but in the end, I got a goal so that was special of course.”

Interesting. Shouldn’t read into things, but I’d guess Biro, Benson, Johnson and Stillman are being rewarded or given a good look over at least. Be crazy if Biro moves ahead of Kulich and Rosen. He’s older I think. Question: If Benson stays and plays off and on for half a season, could he then be sent to Rochester around New Years?

Sure, I wouldn't want to play a seven game series with those de-men, but nice to know if we go down a few defenseman we have competent fill ins.

We have a lot more defensive depth than we imagined. Our 7-12 defense played pretty well against the regular Pens forwards. That’s impressive.
