Yea I commented on that somewhere else...
Basically I found it interesting that Nurse was taking at 7 and Risto 8. Now Nurse could have more upside in the long run but Devine said in all the draft stuff that Risto was the most NHL ready defender outside of Jones. It appears that the Sabres still believe that. Nurse will be back next year and make the team... may even get called up this season.
He can only be called up this season under emergency circumstances if I'm remembering that correctly.

...if they don't start a riot where the audience/mob/acid dropping putz's set the venue on fire like the last time i saw the chili peppers.

Vanek gets it and that cements his exit from Buffalo. Just like Drury, Danny, Rivet, and Pomenville. It happens so often they even mention it in NHL video games.

So I had a Buffalo Bleu burger yesterday that was just awesome. Blue Chz crumbles mixed with hot wing sauce on a seasoned 1/4pnd burger with shredded lettuce, tomato, and a toasted bun. It was delicious.
Sounds good. Ever try the Blue Ribbon Burger at Red Robin? Very similar, subtract the buffalo and add in crispy onion straws.
Made my first batch of chicken corn chowder of the season last night. Loving the leftovers!

Bet the Bills heavy! I will be moving this weekend and the DirecTV isn't getting set up until Monday, so I won't be able to watch the game. They've won every game I've ever missed on TV or in person.

Yeah, everything that breaks is on me now, but at least its mine. No more extra security deposits for my dog, no more having to be sneaky about owning my snakes. If I wanna knock down a wall I can, and I can change awful carpet if I choose.
Im living out these next two days in my townhouse surrounded by 49 18x18x18 boxes (yeah, I counted them, I'm bored!) then I'm moving it all on Saturday!

About a month ago, this little emaciated kitten shows up at my boyfriend's property. He's so incredibly friendly that there's no way he's feral, so it seems like some jerkoff decided they didn't want him and put him outside. We've been feeding him and he's put on a little weight, but with the bf having 3 adult indoor/outdoor cats already, there's no way we could bring him inside because the others are pretty territorial. (They had a tenuous truce when all 4 were outside, but mostly because the little guy hides when the others are out.) I put an ad for him on our local pet classifieds with pics, but after about 2 weeks with no takers, I figured maybe if I took him to the vet for an initial check-up to make sure he's healthy we'd get more interest. Long story short, $260 at the vet and $120 at Petsmart later, he's living at my house and getting eye drops and oral antibiotics multiple times per day. My brother has been awesome and is helping with the expenses, but the kitten still needs a follow-up at the vet Saturday, and eventually all his shots, ear mite treatment, and to be neutered. At this point I'm not sure it'll be any easier to re-home him without doing some of those things, nor am I sure I want to give him up (even though I probably should). But who could say no to this face?
I am very much Anti-Cat, but this is a great story. Good for you guys for taking care of him.

Got Sunday Ticket for free last year and the year before, this year I'm paying $149 for it. I guess I'm losing my touch. 2 years ago paid full price for center ice, last year, thanks to the fiasco with them losing comedy central and all those other channels I got center ice for free. Hopefully I can get something off of them this year.
How much do yo think the service reps hate our calls? I work in a service industry and I absolutely hate the people that are always trying to weasel free sh!t. This is probably why I hate making that call every year, I feel sleezy. I guess my hypocrisy only goes so far.

Just got pulled over at 3:15 am and the cop let me go! I never get let go! Not ever!!! Wasn't doing anything wrong, he just decided that 25mph was to fast for the narrow road.
