To follow up the selection show for the NCAA Playoffs is the following week - Sunday March 19th So even if the Huskies lose on Saturday, Levi won’t sign for at least a week after

I’ll say Savoie stays with the Sabres through December. Then to team canada camp and the WJC. Then they will see where he is at. If he needs more time , he goes back to WHL. much like Krebs , this season, he plays 4th line minutes to learn to be a pro, while with Buffalo Kulich is the first call up from Rochester

I’ll say yes to Girgs and no to KO. Think KO retires but will rejoin the Sabres in some capacity (coach or front office) if they really think Greenway is a top 6 player, then all they need to do this summer is fine KO’s replacement my guess is it will be Savoie to start the season Skinner. Thompson Tuch Mitts. Cozens. Greenway JJP. Krebs. Quinn Girgs. Jost. Savoie Savoie and greenway could flip depending on the game next year. I would hope JJP,Krebs and Quinn can double their output which has me thinking that you might flip Krebs and Cozens above as well

I feel very confident that they will add another Dman through the UFA market Though, they could trade Olofsson in the off-season, not sure what that brings back since I’ve taken the discussion way off topic , I will just add the Matt Savoie is now 5th in WHL scoring. Seems it was just yesterday - not sure he will catch anyone ahead of him but that’s a huge improvement t to where he stood in the scoring race 2 months ago

they may feel they already have Power’s partner in Joki. Im hoping they use their first for a Dman BUT I bet they will take a forward. Someone who they have a high first round grade will fall to them. much like kulich did last season
-
Yes. They need to add 1 more Dman to the mix they will be in a good spot if Stillman is the #7 Whomever they add needs size and is good at D first but also has enough offensive ability to move up and play top 4 mins if Dahlin / Power miss a game or two

You’ve got a really good point there about Quinn and Peterka in AHL in D+2 season i could see that route for Kulich, he could start on AHL and be the first call up when needed Not sure about Savoie; if he was eligible for the AHL then it’s a no-brainer that he starts there I’ll guess that he starts the season with the Sabres and they figure it out from there Really don’t see the point of being in the WHL, except that there may be no other choice

Stilll scares me that Bryson is the 7/8 Dman on the roster. Biggest need in the off-season is another Dman who can be a top 4 when required. someone like Chychrun perhaps 🤔

Rasmus Asplund traded to Nashville for a 2025 7th Round Pick

Trade Olofsson too. -
Considering the GMs acting like drunken sailors, why not trade Olofsson and Mitts today? probably can net you 23 or 24 firsts + for each neither in the long term plans. Get a couple of guys that can help you for 10+ years in the 2023 draft that absolutely loaded

Yes he can

Seattle is interesting. In play off spot but need to improve their prospect pool, will they trade UFA’s?

Decent gamble by St. Louis Hoping that Varana can get his life in order and regain his scoring touch
