There are ways to get a Dman without having to trade away your 1sr round pick UFA market for instance you could Bundle Olofsson with a draft pick and a prospect of course , if the right Dman comes along with your first that’s ok too

Sabres should see if they can get Swayman he’s an RFA and is in line for a big raise. Bruins May not be able to afford him Comrie (or UPL) and a draft pick or two (not a first rounder) for Swayman? Who says no?

He was eligible for the draft because he was on their protected list, prior to the draft that’s why only 2 players were taken last year. Usually there are 20 or so Russians taken I’m guessing this year will be the same.
