This team reflects the coach and his demeanor. Totally lack luster and under whelming.

Sabres seem to play poorly against the Pens. This was a sleep walk of a game.

Just got finishing watching the game (recorded it). Greenway is a physical presence they need. The penalty in the third on him was a farce. Overall a strong game but there are things that they have to work on and improve.

Anyone victory in Toronto is a great win. Those fans are so annoying.

Matthews looks like Freddie Mercury. That goal stinks IMO. This one wild hockey game.

Tage is a wee bit frustrated

Preseason is when you experiment with the lineup. Different pairings to see if they work in case of injuries. The goal tending will sort itself out with their play. As the saying goes: the cream rises to the top.

Boston out was not a surprise. In the past, those teams with 100 plus points failed to make it to the cup.

I get your point. I have seen fourth lines with two grinders and a third skater who can score. I do not see him on the third line. His departure is probable.

I hope enough to provide scoring from the fourth line and PP.

He is all offense and little defense. His scoring balances it out but he has to improve.

296 goals for. Third best in the NHL. Far cry from several years ago when they could not score. Now to improve the defense and into the playoffs.

Forida has Washington, Toronto and Carolina Islanders has Philly, Washington and Montreal Pittsburgh has Detroit, Chicago and Columbus To me the Sabres have to win out and expect two teams to collapse. Odds are that will not happen but I am very pleased with the progress of this team.
