When push comes to shove, they are going to finish somewhere between 24 and 30.
Just like you knew they were before the season started.
They may still earn McEichel, but winning the CHL is still as much of a lottery as the NHL.
-
Neither. The kids on the blue line are figuring it out. When you can get 20 good minutes from a pair of rookies, you are in a strong position. When gorges gets back, we'll have a legit top 4. Sweet.
Can't disagree with that. Zadorov is so raw, but so confident he doesn't realize it.
Risto just keeps get better and better.
Myers/Gorges is a solid combination.
And beyond that Strachan has been a big surprise and Weber is finally allowed to be Weber.
The kids have been the difference between a last-place defence and an OK NHL one.

Lucky streak, or is Teddy hockey starting to get through?
They are playing more like the plucky underdog team I expected before the season started.
-
It's been a pretty good game. Lots of hard skating and hitting.
Latvian hockey.
-
Time for Armia to get his look?
-
The more GIrgs plays with Ennis and Moulson, the more he shows he has top-six skills
-
Ive decided if I think of Stewart as our fourth-line enforcer, I will like him a whole lot better.
-
He's still there. He and Gilbert got a pass to the finals.
Going to leave this open this afternoon. Need some more voters.
-
DT was my all-time favourite Bill.
That story hurt.
-
I am as high on our young twin towers as most are.
I am also remembering what people said about Tyler Myers when he was 18 and what they are saying now.
-
Out: Sauve, Dudley, Shack, Smith, Horton and Joe Crozier
Promoted: Edwards and Playfair
Last round before the playoffs begin
(If anyone is wondering, Bert and Rick got a pass to the finals)
-
Good now he can sell it and we can get an owner we can trust like John Rigas or Tom Golisano.
Or, better yet, Gary Bettman.

Basically yes. Unless you were interested in reinforcing hatred of a particular player. Then you should have watched the whole game.
Nah, I've already got enough hatred for the guys I hate.
Don't want it to start spilling over to the other guys.
-
In only saw the last 12 minutes, were the Sabres looked real good, particularly Moulson and Risto.
Sounds like tht was all that was worth watching.

FYI... The Amerks are an AHL worst 2-7-1 in their last 10 games. What happened to "we have the best prospect pool in all of hockey"? :(
Maybe not the best minor league coach? Or the best goaltending prospects?
But hey, let's not waste any of our 37 first and second round picks on a goalie, right?
-
Disclaimer...I know nothing about Marner except what I read here. 5'10" 165 lbs with a top 5 pick?? :o
That's why he's not getting more hype.
Remember, he's 17 and could fill out.
Joe Sakic was 5'10" 190. Lafontaine was smaller.

God knows the Oilers need more than this, but it's not that bad. Anisimov gives them a decent centre with size and they have their share of skilled wingers.
Cbus can give him up with Dubinsky coming back soon and they could use more offence.
-
Leduc has no future.
And I don't like him playing anywhere in the lineup because it means somebody better is out.
-
Islanders need to stay in.
I cite special circumstances and the faint hope clause.
-
Out: Guevremont, Spencer, Carriere
-
It's about collecting as many good players as possible.
Myers, as much as many refuse to see it, is a good player.
No one is going to trade an elite prospect for him and we are already overflowing with good prospects.
I'd move him as a piece to acquire a better player. Otherwise, why move him?
-
Just because we're fixated on a first-line forward, I think it would be a mistake to think Murray is.
-
Would you trade Myers for Ennis?
-
Out: Van Boxmeer, McKegney, Seiling, Savard, McCourt, Smith, Bowman, (and after hanging in there a long time) Grier
Promoted Drury and Briere.
Only two more group to be added after this one.

Since Armia's not an option, I'm guessing Larsson comes up to play centre and Kaleta moves back to the wing.
