    while I enjoy watching them, I agree and don't think that should be the deciding factor.... It's some skill with a lot of luck, basically the goalie needs to guess and the Nets are so big that the shooter just needs to not screw up. All other tournaments let's the teams play it out (that I'm aware of) at some point a sudden death extra time needs to be implemented, fatigue will set in and one team will net one.

    I can't believe I missed so much over the last two weeks, I was in very remote parts and only had wifi for short bursts, I have to say I'm Surprised about everything that went down, was not expecting to see the sabres dismantle the Habs, I was expecting Moulson and/or Ott to come back. I don't think we're gonna be as bad as some people think this season, I don't think playoffs, but I think the team we may assemble could drop our draft stock significantly

    I still want the Netherlands to win it all, Idk why and have no ties at all to the team, nor do I follow soccer all too closely.... But from what I've seen of the world cup so far they seem like the strongest offensive team. Also what the hell constitutes a yellow card vs no card..... I don't know the exact wording but it seems very very inconsistent.... Makes the NHL look good.

    My wifi is spotty at best up in gdansk, the world cup is definitely much bigger here than in the states, it's been great sitting outdoors in the city squares, enjoy some zywiec and watching with really die hard fans..... It's also nice with our dollar being worth 3x as much, I don't wanna come home next week. I'm surprised the US got through to be honest, I'll try to keep optimism up, but I doubt we win in the knockout round at all, cheers!!!

    I'm heading to wroclaw Poland this evening for 2 weeks, I'm sure the scene there for football will be quite more impressive than here in the states, too bad Poland doesn't have a team in this race, but nonetheless I'm excited to relax and enjoy the European culture. I think the Netherlands have a legit shot of winning this year

    It works in the NFL, but the flow of the game is completely different, there are stoppages in between each down and 3 time outs per half..... I don't even know what would constitute a review by a coach right now, but I can't pass complete judgement until I hear what the grounds are and etc... As for that game.... F Brett hull!!!! Still a Heartbreakers to this day, we were indeed robbed of a chance that night

    I have though that In this series the rags have gotten away with more penalties, but that call on Moore was just terrible. Kings need to wake up, if they lose this one the momentum will have definitley swung away from them, at 3 games to 2,that doubt starts sinking in

    while that series still burns fresh in my mind, the sabres would have had to have won game 6 in OT and then won game 7 in a series where I recall them being outplayed, from memory. I'm still not a huge fan of replay by coaches

    That was pure domination by the kings, numbers show the rags had "better" chances.... But they had what, 6 power plays?!? NY cannot figure LA out, probably because they aren't anywhere as good.

    It's been like that through both games, and the kings can't keep doing that, eventually they will dig a hole too deep to come out of, in OT the rags had the better of the chances I thought too, but who cares, go Kings!!! On a side note, the kings are the first team in history to be down by 2, 3 playoff game in a row and come back to win, just keep building that resiliency resume
