Imo we have a mixture of the 3. A lack of heart,effort and talent. Its when your talent refuses to put in the effort that you have a problem. But sure, we do lack talent probably more than the other 2.

You're right. This is all on Darcy. If there's any blame to go around it is squarely on his shoulders. How can you blame Leino and Stafford when they never should have gotten those deals in the first place ? Hell, I'd have accepted those contracts. I couldn't live up to them but I'd sign in blood. Darcy put this $hitty team together.I'm terrified at the thought of him fixing it.

I think I'll look for either a Pittsburgh game to witness Iggys first game ( do they play tonight and does he ? ) or a Boston game so I can hear those gawd-aweful homer announcers whine about missing out on Iggy. That team is a juggernaut. I don't think there's much value even for the sake of the youngsters development to get swept in 4 straight games and be humiliated by that group. Sell sell sell.

DR just isn't the type of guy to build a team like that. Its a patient approach. I've found mold in skin folds from waiting for DR to build us a true contender. I'll be nearing retirement age by the time he gets something going and even then I'm pretty sure from historical data that he ain't the guy to do it. There's plenty of proof.
