I’d like Brindamour too but unfortunately Terrance Pegula doesn’t like strong personalities. His gm hire is a reflection of himself as is the coach. The fact that he won’t find and hire a president to head it all up is another indication of that weakness. It all starts and ends with Terrance.

Thats what I’m saying. The officiating is terrible and I believe the cheap shot players will ramp it up in the absense of someone to keep them honest. You see it now where even on clean hits and cheap ones someone will step in and fight or try to fight that guy ( maybe not on this team ) whereas the officials will often let it go. Anyways thats how I see it.

I still enjoy a good fair hockey fight but acknowledge that in the long run its probably better for the game if the fighting goes away. Not wanting to get into a debate here but I’m not sure if the officiating can properly control and punish the cheapshots that invariably may follow.

One thing I’ll say about Power is in the dressing room vids his legs look like stork legs. All bone very little muscle. Hope he beefs it up cause he’ll snap one of those twigs if he doesn’t. My wife calls me chicken legs and Mine have him beat and I ain’t no pro athlete.

And therein lies the problem. Scumbags seem to win games and often cups. For every Marchand that bleeds hockey there is a nice guy that doesn’t. Nice guys win cups too but I’d rather go into battle with a not so nice guy. Buffalo needs a couple.

If KA goes into next season without supplimenting with veteran help these guys will miss again. He knows it, we know it, the players know it. More youth will not get this team in. Reap what you sow.

I would hope that our coach rather than lead these guys to a safe space when they are challenged by a few boo birds would tell them to grow up and accept the challenge. Play better. Push back instead of running to coach or captain. Get angry but at the opposition who are all laughing at these guys too. But we don’t have that coach.

I try not to get too caught up on when they’ll make the playoffs. Cup ? Wtf lol. Making the playoffs is a low bar for me. It should be the expectation for this team going forward but imo KA has other plans. He seems to think its too early to make the playoffs. Content to sit on his hands while Rome burns. But I do enjoy watching the odd win. Its the mounting losses and more importantly how they lose that grates me. But what can ya do? Its out of our control.

I have no expectations that they’ll win this but they aren’t at home so 🤷🏻‍♂️. Anyway, Go Sabres. Pull up your big boy panties and git er done.

This team is a reflection of Don Granado. They fit his personality to a T. KA doesn’t get a pass. The makeup of this team is on KA as are the contracts he hands out. Terry Pegula doesn’t get a pass. He signs off on all decisions. Apparently the man is a moron. That shite flows downhill. They want to build a team that competes for the cup on a yearly basis but they can’t win more than two in a row or even make the playoffs. What is going on?
