I stand corrected. What is this bi-polar jekyl and Hyde character flaw this team has. If they could ever figure out a way to play like they did tonight on a consistant basis they could be world beaters. But they lose big and lose me then win big and pull me back in. It’s maddening. Nice team win. Benson is money and everyone chipped in with lots of grit. Cousins layed a guy out then went in for a nice goal. And they wiped that smile off of jacky boys face. Good stuff.

Tonight I’m taking the wife out for sushi, I’d quite literally rather stick wasabi in my eye than to watch these toddlers throw up over themselves. Vegas is how a team should be built, none of this KA trying to re-invent the wheel or Donny teaching offence first. The plan should have been whats tried and true. The way pretty much every team thats won has done it and will do it as far as team construction and player make up goes. Simple formula. I’m sick of the we know better approach that these morons have sold us. Anyhow, I wish the boys luck. Break a leg.

And they are trying to make the jump to the bigs seamless by teaching the same system as the big club. Lol what system ? Sorry not sorry.

They say you are what you eat. I feel like I’ve been feeding at the buffet of broken promises for far too long. What I want to know is what is Donnie and the coaching staff feeding these players ? Lots of you have said Donnie can develop these players but he isn’t the guy to get them over the top. I’m starting to believe he isn’t the right guy to develop them either. What has this group of guys benefitted from Donnies tutelage ? They are an extension of him at this point. It ain’t good. And KA bleeds into their mindset as well. They’ve sucked the joy of hockey right out of me.

Insightful commentary from the panel when they weren’t laughing at the Sabres about accountability and how you choose to play. Also about the Sabres staff allowing these players to continue to make mistakes without fixing it. About how winning teams don’t allow players to get away with making mistakes over and over again. Are you listening Donnie ? Not sure this team has it in them. Its about time they start to hold each other accountable.

They have to get the PP going. 0-5 against Montreal killed us. Go back and look at our losses this year and in a lot of cases one or two PP goals would have changed the outcome. Ifvwe have to scuttle Matt freakin Ellis to fix the PP then so be it.

The lack of a servicable PP to me is mind boggling. The players are taking the heat on this but they seem to be doing the same things that have gotten them no results. This is on ellis and a lack of confidence which can be fixed with a change in coaching. The coach obviously has no answers. If we continue to do the same things and get no results I have to think KA has his eyes on another shiny toy. -

Despite losing in the talent competition at the end there that was a terrific game. Enjoyed the heck out of that one. -

That PP will be the playoff death of this team. No bout a doubt it. -

Well we know they can throw it around the outside. Effectively killing the PP. -
