Draft lottery is completely stupid concept. Worst team gets first pick end of story. I get the whole idea behind it but not many teams willing to sell off every good player do rebuild. I know Buffalo did but we can all admit it hasn't worked out that well for us.

I think people under estimate Foligno's worth. He is a solid player. Yes i know he's not top 6 but he can fit in the bottom 6 perfectly.

I thought a coaching change was needed mid season. Then you throw in both teams not making the playoffs. Yeah that's a problem

I wasn't a fan of Disco Dan from the start. I thought their was a solid reason why Pittsburgh let him go and then all of a sudden the Pens win the Cup after that. His system sucks. The game has changed and his style doesn't fit in today's game. I would take my chance on a college coach or even a solid junior coach.

I just hope his GM isn't Dean Lombardi. Yes I know he won the Cup with Los Angeles but I feel most of that was because of Ron Hextall. Hextall leaves Los Angeles and you notice they miss the playoffs once he leaves. Now he is rebuilding Philly and started it off on the defense.

They need to be hitting on these picks. Yes I know their is factors in these drafts but that's what separates the good teams from the bad. Yes I know you can only have a certain number of contracts but Murray threw away a lot of picks because he wanted help now which is fine but some of these moves their were reasons why these teams gave up certain players to us. Bogo and Kulikov look like they don't even know how to play defense anymore. I get that Kulikov was banged up for most of the year because of the hit early in the season on his back. But him and Bogo were absolutely brutal to watch.

I have been saying for awhile that a team that suppose to have a huge scouting department compared to a lot of other teams that their is no excuse that then can't find hidden talent. One thing I like about Murray is he like to take chances but what I didn't like was his willingness to throw out too many draft picks in these deals. I've always been under the philosophy that if you have a solid scouting department that you stockpile talent and keep the system flowing year in and year out. That's the reason why you have such a huge scouting department and then you have a GM that can trust his scouts in order to make these moves.

I thought Murray did an okay job but thought he gave away too many picks for players that he thought would help this club but didn't. The Leafs passing us by and the Americans looking just like the Sabres spelled doom for him. He traded for a goalie that can't seem to make a save in a shootout to save his life. What gets me is that the Pegula's need and I stress the word need to have the best of the best in this organization. The Scouting department needs to find hidden gems and hit more often than usual. This organization just seems like a mess.

What about the coach from Denver University. Seems like he always been known for producing some talent. Plus we could have the inside track on Will Butcher.

This is going to be an interesting off season. I'm here in Las Vegas and the excitement for the Golden Knights is growing. With the expansion draft this year it's going to be a fun to watch the moves.

A little shocked by Murray getting canned but this organization went backward and the Americans were brutal as well. He moved to many picks for what he thought could help this club right now and it didn't pan out.

Please No Dean Lombardi- I think a lot of his success was because of having Ron Hextall in Los Angeles. You can see what he is building in Philly.

That's what I'm afraid of is Petersen not signing here. Do I think he's our future #1 I can't say but he does look promising.

So do you think Cal Petersen signs here or tests free agency? Do you think if we finish with the 6 pick does he move it or keeps it? Does Dan remain the coach?

These team needs a new head coach and some defenseman period.

I only watched a handful of games this season and to me it looked like Bogo and Kulikov forgot how to play defense. And watching their defense as a whole you could see why they weren't going anywhere. Plus their is a reason why Florida and Winnipeg trade those two. I'm also not a fan of Disco Dan as well since what happened with him in Pittsburgh. Obviously after Pittsburgh made that coaching change a couple of moves by the GM that they brought out the best in the Pens. He needs to be fired and even Murray needs to be put on notice. To me this Draft will tell all of us what type of GM we have. No sure fire picks in the first plus we have a lot of needs for defense.

I live in Vegas and it's not going to be Moulson coming here. Moulson is too slow for this current NHL. McPhee is going to pick a mostly young team with a sprinkle of Vets. Remember they have to also fill up a minor league squad as well. We will lose Girgs or Ennis if exposed. I agree with all those players on that list that need to go. I just find it crazy that Kulikov and Bogo seem to have no clue on how to play defense anymore. This team needs a major shakeup this summer and most teams need help on defense so I highly doubt teams are going to want to trade a young defenseman to Buffalo for a top ten pick in a weak draft.

We need defense badly. I'm not just putting Murray on notice but our scouts have to start hitting on late picks. To me that's what's killing this rebuild. With all the picks we had the last few years you have to find some sleepers. Now you move on to some of his trades and 1/2 of the trade looks like garbage. I just think Bogo and Kulikov are just plain brutal. I know Kane and Asplund were the key pieces to those trades but both of the defenseman we got seem like they don't know how to play defense anymore. I think Murray has to be put on notice he created a lot of this mess. And then you watch Toronto blow past us in the rebuild that's unacceptable in my book. Now people want Disco Dan gone and we had a chance to and could of picked up Julian and let him go by.

Well Buffalo is the new Chicago Cubs. Huge fan base but until they get quality people here running the Sabres and Bills both are just major disappointments.
