He plays a very steady game most of the time

Asplund started the year playing well in all situations for the Amerks. Sitting him on the taxi squad is a waste imo. Get him on the ice. There's a place for a guy like that

So far he looks like he can play in the league. I hope he has a long career.

Had to run to the store for my wife but when I came back.... Nice setup from Samuelsson to Quinn on a 3 on 1 equals an Ogilvie goal 3-1 after 2 Too many PP against to start the third. UPL has had to make some great saves but can't make em all. Samuelsson delay of game with 3:34 left gives the Crunch their 8th PP Crunch took a penalty a minute into the PP And another 15 seconds later Amerks end up with a 5 on 3 PP and score JS Dea makes it 4-2 with some nifty hand eye coordination Amerks win UPL makes 27 saves and shuts the door in the third

Game Day Updates: Gonna use this one post and edit as the game goes on.. Halfway through the first and the #1 PP in AHL strikes first ..Fogarty 1-1 Amerks gave up a PP goal of their own Samuelsson! Just took one off his back to keep it 1-1 after 1. R2 bangs in a rebound 2-1 Amerks
