I wonder if we'd get the traditional "and d4rk's parents and long-time girlfriend Josie are on-hand for his first NHL game" camera shot.
What number does Rip slap him with?

How far off is D-Lo? He can play D.
I thought mid-December? http://forums.sabrespace.com/topic/24384-injury-updates-201617-season/page-4

I wonder if someone somewhere keeps stats of +/- per PPTOI?
(I realize that +/- doesn't apply to PP's)

Gionta = Yoda, I guess?

I guess Vanek also played here as a member of the Wild on March 5 2016: http://www.foxsports.com/nhl/boxscore?id=28852
Other than that, he wouldn't have, unless the Isles or Habs played in Buffalo during the end of 2013-2014.
It feels like he played for Minnesota for more than two years. Probably because of Pommers.
-
He would have played here when he played for Minnesota, no?
I don't remember this at all.... Min 7, Buf 0 on Jan 15 2015: http://www.foxsports.com/nhl/boxscore?id=27441
That Tank truly was a blur...

Some nice tidbits you've got there, Smell.
I wonder if any other NHL'ers did something similar that season because of the pension?

Nice, thanks dudacek.
By the way, to add to what you said:
Glotov is playing on Cape Breton in the Quebec Juniors League
Hagel is playing on Red Deer in the WHL

Nylander in March! (I voted Other)

I just received a Bills Season Ticket Holder email with an Exclusive Presale option for World Juniors tickets.

The Blues Winter Classic jerseys are.... AWESOME.
Oh my... yes indeed! The Blues' conversion to a navy blue rather than royal blue has been just as disappointing as the Sabres'.

Who here had recently posted about the incredibly depressed value of other NHL franchises' seat tickets on the secondary market(s)?
The bit of discussion that I believe you are referencing begins here: http://forums.sabrespace.com/topic/24328-sabres-announce-dynamic-ticket-pricing/?p=877527

NHL Standings fun: Seven (out of 14) Western Conference teams have less Points than the number of Games Played, while only one Eastern Conference Team (Carolina) fits in that category.
-
OK, we need to put this too bed. Since nobody, no, not that nobody, came close to forecasting the off season, I propose that you all pick one move that you think will happen before end of February. Winner gets two tickets to Tampa Bay game in March. I would like to limit participation to those members who already entered contest.
Ok...... Kulikov + a prospect are traded to a Western conference team for a 2nd-round pick + a D prospect

God, i hate that guy singing.
He sounded awful -- I never minded him, thought his performance was usually better than what we heard this evening.
-
For the Bruins: 2015 #37 overall pick Brandon Carlo (he's American!) is getting top minutes with Chara, and seems to be doing ok for himself so far.
What's this kid's deal? Is he supposed to be great? I feel like I hadn't heard of him before a couple weeks ago.
Hopefully we can squeeze the second period in before the Bills kick off in Seattle! Then by the time the third period starts, we'll be in full-on commercials-every-30-seconds mode for the Bills game, giving ample opportunity to flip it over to the 'bres

Thursday's Leafs game tickets going for less than $20 on StubHub. So neither Sabres nor Leafs fans seem to give a crap now.
I wonder what the dynamic Sabres price is for this one?
Yeah! A month ago, I jumped on the opportunity at a family friend's pair of tickets to Thursday's game for $40 each. Then I looked the next day and realized I could have had them for quite a bit cheaper?
-
I looked it up a bit, it looks like this would be the first time above ".500" since the very first game of the lockout-shortened season when the Sabres beat Philly.
Three years and 11 months without sniffing that since.
It ends tonight.
Wait - where are The Charts? And where is carp??
