If you know you aren't getting to the NHL, and you aren't ready to get a real job, a couple years in Jacksonville wouldn't suck.

Aside from the step up in level, and pay probably, where would you rather be playing minor hockey? Rochester or Jacksonville?

I just realized the New Hampshire Mountain Kings play in my local rink: Tri-Town Arena. So the Jr. Amerks will be here twice this season.

It's pretty easy, and done here all the time.

So they are giving out new franchises. They need 3 more to match the 32 in the NHL.

Tickets sold. Actual attendence is usually lower.

That number for real? Go to Portland ME or Worcester MA and count the actual fans. 1,000 if they're lucky.

There are 32 NHL teams, 32 AHL Teams, but only 28 ECHL teams. Suggests there might be room for 4 more new teams. Maybe one closer to WNY? Complete hypothetical: If the Sabres operated their own ECHL team out of Harborcenter, would anyone go?

You never hear much from the Sabres, or any NHL team, about their ECHL affiliates. You'd think they'd want to be involved with player development at every level.

Look, I know your spin, and you're entitled to it. The guy is on the job 10 days before FA period begins. He's saddled with a coach he was going to fire. I am not counting that year. You can and will, especially if it feeds your narrative.

Technically yes. Kevyn was hired on June 20, 2020. So that offseason was already months old when he got the job. Year one his mandate was to help coach Krueger build the team RALPH wanted. It wasn't until the 2021 offseason that he started on HIS program. That included permanently hiring Don Granato. So that's two off-seasons and two seasons played under Adams vision. Now we are in off season 3 of Adams full control. You also said, quote: "4 years and plenty of cap space and assets. Am I asking too much?" Adams has been on the job exactly 3 years and 12 days. So again I ask, where do you get "4 years??" And the cap space you talk about didn't materialize until the end of Adams first season, when Terry allowed him to fire Ralph, move players and start building the team his way.

Year one was recovering from Ralph Krueger. 2 years of actually implementing his plan. Year 3 hasn't happened yet. Where do you get 4?

You'd think Kev would get a little slack for the good work he's done so far. Right far more than wrong. I guess not.

No. But barring injury, Levi will play 35-50 games. Also Adams is not going to publicly state the Sabres are desperate for a goalie, even while the look. That said, they are not done with UPL and Comrie like some fans are.

The real question is are we done with either Comrie or UPL. I suspect we aren't. One will likely get traded.
