Made me think for a bit. It’s easily 17 now. But before that isn’t an easy answer for me. Moulds probably.

The early successes of the McBean era were low hanging fruit. They backed into the playoffs and ended the drought. They drafted Allen and to their credit stuck with him even though early on it was hard to tell what we had in him. Outside of that, most of the moves have been chalk without any big hits in the draft. The 2nd round picks have been abysmal. They reached for Edmunds, Elam is good but their handling of him has been weird. Groot could be great but now he’s buried behind Von and Floyd. Their asset allocation for the D line has been so unbalanced, they have 4 backups/special team players battling it out for the starting MLB position.

That is super sad.

This was handled about as poorly as anything I can remember that didn’t mean *****. Mostly by the fans and media. I know the sports world is coming to a grinding halt so everyone needs content. Holy smokes. I blocked a whole gaggle of losers on twitter who were creaming in their jeans about the whole ordeal.

I think they promote Peca to the big club before Appert 🤷‍♂️

I’d take Borgen over Joki 100 times out of 100.

I didn’t see it as a reasonable option. He was always EXACTLY what this team needed. I hate to even look at the protected list to see who they kept over him.

Lesson 101 on getting out in front of your internal issues before they become external. The hissy fits being thrown is absolutely cringe. Act like adults for Christ’s sake. Players. Coaches and especially the fans. It’s no wonder other fanbases loathe the Bills fans. Drama queen central.

I can guarantee every player would rather play against Hagg as his hits are the rub you off the puck variety. Effective but not worrisome. Ilya will straight up blast you. Maybe he takes himself out of position more. Didn’t see it too much. But I want the guy the other team is peeking over their shoulder for. Please give me Will Borgen back. ☹️

The off-season sucks

I was never a big Eichel fan. I recognize the talent. I just thought he had the opposite of charisma. He doesn’t seem cool at all.

How do you watch the Sabres?

I’ve had both. No MSG obviously being a big problem for YoutubeTV. I recall (don’t hold me to this) that Fubo was missing some major networks. I think they’ve fixed that but with a major price upgrade. I think I was paying $40-50 a month. I think it’s $70 now. Fubo didn’t have the Turner networks (i.e. TNT, TBS, and the 17 other shite channels that the NCAA Tourney games end up on). And that’s where the runner met the road. I had a bunch of people over on one of the March Madness weekends. The tournament was not the reason for the get together but alas people wanted to watch. No go in inky’s house. Super frustrating. YoutubeTV has been good to me. (Ok so I might share the service with a neighbor). The 4K channels for football are amazing. Honestly, I don’t watch it for much more than football. I also have DirecTV streaming. I’ve had it in the past as well. Too pricey (I may also be sharing this as well although I don’t think the sharee remembers he logged in at my house one day to watch the Sabres).
