Yep. It's sucks. Everything is disposable now. It's one of the reasons I hate active speakers. I can always throw a new or different amp on a set of passive speakers. And we're at the age now where the caps in all of these first generation active monitors are going to start drying up. Instead of just buying a $.89 part and fixing them, I have to chuck it right in the garbage patch and spend a ***** ton on some sterile chip amplified newer speaker.

I mean stuff like capacitors, resistors, and diodes, not an HDMI to RCA convertor. I miss RadioShack.

Had a quick question.

Here’s another tech question. I know that some of you live outside of areas where either cable or fiber are options. Does anyone have any experience with tv antennas to get over the air, digital broadcasts? I would love a recommendation on what to buy or any advice on what to look out for. Thanks in advance.

That’s because the games that they played didn’t matter. Maybe. Probably depends on his linemates. There may not be more up for him, but his down might not come for a while. His game was never built on speed (no, he’s not slow), it’s based on hands and head and size. He’s not going to lose any of those to age so he could hang out here for a while. As to the thread, I think it’s interesting to ask if the Sabres have improved, but I think it’s a red herring to use the opening night rosters to answer the question. Especially because the direction this team has chosen is that they plan on having most of their improvement happen from within. Are they better? Absolutely. Heck, they were better by the end of the season. Are they better than the end of last season? On defense alone , I would say yes. The rest?,… cautiously optimistic.

This. A lot. I remember switching over to some late game after the Sabres had played and being surprised at how much worse the hockey being played was, by both teams. It was years since that happened. As to the second paragraph, if you don’t think that what Cozens, Samuelsson, Tuch, and even Dahlin bring to the Sabres is what we were talking about, then you were hearing what you wanted to hear. I still need to see it at the beginning of the season to be convinced.

In my opinion, he was/is the greatest threat to the Constitution that we have seen, maybe since the Civil war, and certainly since McCarthyism. I was/am quite proud (as an American) that it held up. Lets hope it keeps holding on.
