Sabres are 0-6 against the Hurricanes going back two seasons. Haven't beaten them since 2015-16. And apparently we're really bad on following up wins with wins since the streak. We've only had back to back wins once in the last 18 games. -
But I thought it was a buyers market? *wet fart*

lol eff that

Looks like we're still showing last years schedule? edit: the calendar on the main landing page, sabrespace.com. The one in the Aud Club seems to work fine.

Sabres Skills Competition / Did you see the uniforms?

I'm just saying, he lobs a lot of softies that are easily stopped. Sure, he gets one through here and there, but I really wish his shot was a little harder. -
Donald J Trump, your thoughts on his Presidency

It's really hilarious isn't it? How many "liberal media" outlets are owned by conservatives? Most of them it would seem. I'm a pretty liberal guy most of the time, and I would argue that most "liberal media" is (at best) neoliberal, which is to say: not very liberal at all. I basically only read The Daily Beast (which tries to be "fair and balanced" by offering some conservative opinion pieces). I like former DB EIC John Avlon and his wife Margaret Hoover (yes, the great-granddaughter of the President). I'm also a big fan of Charles Pierce who writes for Esquire. He's a big sports and music guy too. But yeah. "Liberal media"? Okay. -

I elected to utilize the Ignore function today.

Go through all that work just to have my washing machine ruin them anyway?

I have the opposite problem. My wingspan is only a little long but doesn't match my longer torso. So if I buy long/tall shirts to give me the length I need in the torso, the arms tend to end up too long. If I buy shirts that are right in the arms, the tail is too short and I can't tuck my shirt in. So I have to hunt for shirts that come standard with longer tails.

Hyperbole.

We're three weeks into "winter" and it has only just now arrived. I'm moving to Minnesota.

The thing I've been enjoying about Tage lately is that his long reach has been useful keeping zone possessions alive. I think if he can increase that line's zone pressure it'll really help wear opponents down which creates great opportunities for Jack and Skinner. Plus his shot is something that other teams have no choice but to pay attention to. He's not Reinhart or Pommers in that respect, and that's a good thing. He's still a little...clumsy?...in tight areas, but I think he's gotten better. He still needs to develop that real toughness on the puck, but I'm willing to take accept his deficiencies for now if he can just provide some real shooting on the top line.
-
This is a legit problem.

I think he's the right guy for the job just because Eichel is such a pass-first player. Thompson was cranking shots away like crazy the other night and I kept thinking how that would be perfect for the top line. Skinner is great at cashing in rebounds and Thompson is the kind of guy who could really generate those chances.
-
He's playing a better game than he was at the beginning of the season though. I think it'll work better this time around.
-
I disagree. Thompson has looked quite good with the puck lately.

Donald J Trump, your thoughts on his Presidency

That's because "checks and balances" has become characterized as a flaw rather than a feature in these times of hyper-partisanship. Both parties are guilty of weakening the system. So are the American people for failing to elect functional congresses and forcing shifts of power to the executive and judicial. -

You're implying that he even understands the concept of government. He thinks he's a king.
