I think they are all good pieces. But they aren't complete enough to carry anything.

The goal for the next season should be to move Greenway and even Tuch to the 3rd line. That doesn't meaning let Kulich struggle on the wing to find his NHL game. That means immediately upgrading those two positions in the top 6. Those two guys have the skill set to play that line, and they can put pucks in the net.

A pipe dream would be to do it internally. Something like:

    Skinner - Thompson - Cozens
    JJP - Mitts - Benson

    Greenway - ??? - Tuch

If you can get some return on Skinner you could move JJP up and if Quinn finds his game he can play the second line.

(Does anybody else have a tough time with formatting on SS compared to TBD. My spacing is sometimes wonky and impossible to fix. @SDS)

They are both running the same software. Clear your caches.

Bad news: per Harrington Pegula is dead set against firing a coach until their contract is up because of worries about cost overruns for the new throwball stadium (which he is on the hook for).

Tl,dr: We are going to be run like the Charles Wang Islanders post Lighthouse going down in flames (AKA: Hopeless Poverty Franchise). We are literally in Hell.

    when did he state this?

Rod sees meddling TP as owner and rink manager Adams as GM. Why would he touch this situation with a 10 foot pole? It would have to take Pegula signing a restraining order and an agreement Rod can hire his GM.

There will come a time when “rink manager” is no longer applicable. It is year four. How much experience do you require as a GM before he is considered a GM? I assume he is capable of learning on the job, even if he was elevated prematurely.

Weave helped me out. The poster I quoted lamented that the Sabres didn’t draft Leon. Leon was solidly the consensus #3 at the time.

    I don’t remember that either.

Number two was a choice between which Sam we were going to take. When Leon was taken third, it was a surprise that Bennett fell to four.

Reino was the consensus #2 by all accounts and draft resources.  Hindsight is the only reason to lament the pick because Drai has dramatically outperformed his draft status.

My firm recollection is that it was up in the air which Sam we were going to take. I don’t think it was a consensus at all.

Since I had to give up playing goal because of 1) heart issues 2) knee replacements 3) age, I started playing pickleball at the gym at our town hall. My wife suggested we go last February. She played a couple times and lost interest. Meanwhile I really took to it. I picked it up quickly since I play 4-6 times a week. I've gotten fairly competent. There is a rating scale called DUPR. I have never been officially scored but I'm guessing I'm just over 3.0.  I play with some strategy, my serves can be tricky and I can put a nasty spin on a drop shot.

I find that pickleball scratches the competitive itch hockey used to. It improved my heart function. It's a great work out without feeling like you're working out. Of course I upgraded my paddle twice, but I haven't crossed the $100 price point. (I bought a used $179 MSRP paddle for $50. It had a small split in the edging. I wrote the company asking how to fix it and they just sent me a new one!) Whenever I travel, to Buffalo or Maryland, and in February to Vegas, I always look up where there's a game I can join.

    Anyone else here play?

We bought rackets, but it’s so popular here, especially at our gym, that there’s never a court to play on. I think we’ve had rackets for over a year now. Lol

Got it, you have bad word database that auto-corrects anything to the censored version so you never see it. I just know in the past you didn't like it when there were a bunch of #### in a paragraph being filtered out so I wanted to try and maintain that standard after I made my joke.

Also, can we use that database to make Rosen, Rosén? Kinda like our good friend Östlund?

Actually it was the opposite! My point was/is instead of trying to misspell words to avoid the filter, just type it out, make yourself feel better, and let the filter do its job. Win/win.

You are going to need to cut out anything like this if you are going to participate in this forum.  Completely unacceptable.

Quoting things like this just makes it harder to clean up.
