They have two swings at with Hughes, I love the ballsy move Guerin made, unfortunately they are going to play Colorado in either the first or second round
-
You may not be aware of it but the mushrooms you are consuming are hallucinogenic. Your level of fantasy is beyond imagination. What will the owner do? I don't know what this aloof owner will do. What I do know is that a tail end three game winning streak against lesser opponents will not come close to offsetting KA's six-year dismal record.
-
I’m still hoping someone will give me one. Have I told you lately how much I enjoy your posts?

I don't know what other fan bases want but I'm confident that every GM in the league would be interested in acquiring Dahlin. Dahlin like Eichel hadn't made an impact on the bottom line because our bottom line was so far under that no one player was going to raise a sunken ship. If the Eichel trade didn't give you a lesson on how not to improve the roster, then a prospective Dahlin trade will also not teach you an obvious lesson on what not to do.

Hughes is better in every statistical category accept for goals, Hughes has more assists, more points in less games played, better +/-, more time on ice/game. I'm not sure defensively how they stack up but if i were a gambling man I'd say Hughes was better defensively as well. Also to answer your question I don't want even more young guys on the team, can't we build a solid team around Thompson, Dahlin, Benson, Samuelsson, Doan and Mcleod instead of blowing this up all over again? Can't a solid GM work with this? Just asking in general.
-
And you keep on losin'. I'll say the same thing about Thompson. What is the haul for both of them? LGR would have rocked that Barry Sanders jersey back in the day.
-
Have you thought about just buying two new Lexuses and putting a big red bow on them?
-
Lmfao. Power has never even come with a tier of Dahlin. We're not on any timeline involving him. Crusade on.
-
Sorry, I'm not interested in someone who hasn't made much of an impact on the bottom line. You can lose with or without him. Tell me, do other fan bases dream of getting Rasmus Dahlin?
-
I would love it. He is a face of losing. Dahlin would be happy, and the Sabres could jump start a reset. They just don't have enough good players. If the Sabres are on Power's timeline now, it makes even more sense.
-
They still get him for 2 more seasons at least as his contract doesn't expire until 2027.

Those are definitely your own words. -
And speaking of cars, both of mine need tires at the same time. It’s the most wonderful time of the year.

Did we ever find out how may Byram can do?
-
On that note, how is Bogosian still in this league?
-
People will argue over who is better, but Dahlin is a more valuable commodity at this point thanks to the 6 years left on his contract.
-
I would hate it if Dahlin was traded, period. No one else on this team can carry the puck our of our own zone like he can, and that's just the least of his assets. If Dahlin was on some other team we'd all be wishing we could trade half our team for him. Under a new GM, anyone else could go, but not Dahlin.
-
Hughes is not as good a two way player as Dahlin. He is like Makar, smaller super skilled D man that use that speed and skill to get the puck where it needs to go. The trade was about circumstance. If the new GM made that trade I would want the old one back. It wouldn't happen though because Dahlin is under contract for longer and I don't think a new GM is going to come in and do a full rebuild. The Quinn trade was so similar to the Eichel trade they must have used it as a blueprint. So far that helped Vegas a lot more than it helped us and I expect this will have a similar result. Marty and Duff were asking Shana Goldman a few weeks ago about how good the Thompson contract looks compared to the new signings. Her reply was the best looking one was Dahlin's and I could see her point. If he were to hit the market today your probably looking at 15 million per year or more. So that will be the issue with Quinn when it comes time. I am sure the Wild will be willing. Now it will be up to Quinn.
