bottlecap
These two remind me of the combination Lafontaine and Mogilny. They were magic together. Why not try it along with Hecht? Also, Vanek-Roy-Pominville might be good since they played together so well with the Amerks. Drury is tough to deal with because he gets the leftovers. I'd put him on with Gaustad and Mair for a checking line.
shrader
Vanek-Roy-Pominville might be good? Why would you even bother when Vanek-Roy-Afinogenov is already a great line?
bottlecap
I don't see much that's been great in the last 10 games.
Bmwolf21
Why throw Drury out there on a checking line? He did score 30 goals last year, and is pretty capable offensively - so why saddle him even worse with Goose & Mair? Put Novotny between Goose & Mair, and let Drury play with some guys who have an offensive clue...
shrader
I don't see much that's been great in the last 10 games. Roy's only been back for 7 games, but anyway, in those 7 games: Roy: 2-1-3 +1 Vanek: 2-2-4 +4 Afinogenov: 2-5-7 -1 Not exactly the greatest of numbers, but good luck finding any other line on the team that did any better. They're by far the best line on the team and shouldn't be broken up. They may not be scoring, not that anyone is, but they're creating more opportunities than anyone else out there. Max didn't work well with Briere at the begining of the year, but he works well with these guys. Vanek and Roy actually have a slight feel for what Max is going to do. Put him with anyone else and there's a sharp learning curve.

I was in favor of leaving Roy-Max-Vanek together, but with the team slumping in the offensive zone, it might be worth a try(even for a period or two, to see how it works).
