inkman Posted November 11, 2006 Report Share Posted November 11, 2006 Is anyone else not excited to hear those Perry's Ice cream commercials featuring a less than enthusiastic crowd-noise-less RJ play by play? I'm sorry but quite frankly, it sucks. The whole nostalgia of RJ is the emotion of the moment with the crowd going nuts. Hearing this lack luster take off of his play by play leaves me feeling empty. Just like when Shane Conlan did those tire commercials when he played for the Bills. You could just see that Conlan was not there for the fun of it, especially when you could see his eyes move to read the cue cards.
