The difference between this year and years past is the bills actually have a stated plan to rebuild the defense first and tweak the offense. The signing of price, and the release of the dead weight williams has probably helped. I do believe that the "qb competition" is just lipservice. No way does losman lose out on that job... That's like bob essensa beating out marty biron for the starting job a few years back... not gonna happen! The defense got better, offense hopefully got better through addition by subtraction (moulds=zhitnik/satan). They've got some roll players in there, to potentially push for a playoff spot. I'm cautiously optimistic.
