Metallica's version of "Page" is pretty righteous. While thinking about Metallica and this thread, I thought of "Whiskey in the Jar". This Thin Lizzy cover is awesome and may be at the top of my cover song list. YES. Metallica's cover of Turn the page immediately comes to mind. Whiskey is definitely close behind it. How about Pearl Jam's "Last Kiss"? That's a cover. Beautifully redone by Vetter. Edit: Also, my favorite Rage Against the Machine song, "Kick out the Jams"!
