He worked super hard all summer and scored his first goal ever in our first game last week. It was the one that tied the game for us. His goal celebration? Immediately looking to his Dad at the bench and yelling "Yeeahhhh!" When I was a kid I wanted to be Jim Craig, now that I'm over 40 I want to be Herb Brooks. Yeah, my kid is awesome. Kinda brisk in the 40s, but 1-2 hours each way was pretty bearable, but I found some spectacular roads. The party was cool: about 8 guys I know race trail bikes (125cc) max in on backyard motocross courses. Lots of fun because it's not serious, and racing is always fun to watch. The ride home was pretty chilly since the last hour or so was in the dark. Then, got to watch the Sabres actually win a game. Woo! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
